I'm not from Okinawa but have been there several times!
Okinawa is amazing!
The sea is soooo beautiful, especially the ones around the litte islnads!!

Actually I went there in last Feb.
There are a lot of rent-a-car shops there.
I don't know if it's common now in mainland Japan too but the price system of a rent-a-car was kind of unique there.
I heard that there are a lot of car accidents in parking lots there.
When you park your car in a parking lot, if someone hit your can and run away, YOU'll have to pay some amount of money because they can't lend the car to other people while repairng it.
The insurance cover to repair the car but it doesn't cover the loss that they can't use the car while repaing it.
So there is another insurance for that.
I don't know if it's the case only where I rented a car.
Maybe you should check it out there when you rent a car.
Especially, this summer with saving electricity, I mean air conditional!

Okinawa people, foods, music, mood etc... are very good! I bit you like there:)
I think you had better do scuba diving. If you are lucky, you might see turtle:) They are cute:D

Yes, I have. Okinawa's sea is very clear!!! You can see everything!
Okinawa is very good place.
My grandmother lives in "Kadena-town" of Okinawa.
I'm going to live in Okinawa in the near future now though I live in Kanagawa.
