I don't want my friends to read this journal. It's a silly note. I will make you to feel gloomy. The news of the contaminated milk reminded me the gloomy days.

The critical accident in a nuclear plant in Japan, September, 1999
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tokaimura_nuclear_accident

These are videos in Japanese, so you might not be able to understand the story.
A worker was exposed the radiation directly and his DNA was harmed. Right after the accident, he looked nomal. The radiation attack human's DNA and the body can't make new cells. He was getting worse and worse. A nurse said that she had a conversation with him at first, but at the end she wasn't able to recognize his appearance because he wasn't able to make all his cells including his skin.

After the massive tunami, I saw this video and began to worry about workers there. This accident happened twelve years ago but there are still workers in every plant. I don't relate to the nuke plant at all and I can't manage to improve such an environment.

I feel sad every time when I hear the news about radiation. Even though I have been thinking the future of my children since I had a baby. My children are weak in their health condition since they were born, so I have been working to make them healthy. I wonder if it would be spoiled.

I got a geiger counter but it's not useful. I measured the radiation around my house but obviously the radiation won't disappear. I had better clean up than measure the radiation. My family had contaminated water, food and air. I got tired to think about it. Even so I want to keep our life healthy. I wonder when we will feel better. It's troublesome.

Accidents like this also happen in the US. Many people in small cities are getting cancer from mining chemicals and pesticides. Unfortunately not many people know about it because it usually only happens in rural cities.

It makes me sad. I wish that we could live in a better world.
