Tokusatsu, 特撮, is the traditional way to make a Monster movie in Japan.

CG is the populer way to make a film, but traditional Japanese movies are different. The Japanese film makers use special filming techniques. They make miniature towns or houses, furthermore any smaller things, and shoot. Godzilla movies are Tokusatsu. Even bombing buildings of the movie, the filmmaker does in miniature towns. Audiences will never realize that they are miniatures.

The guys are clever with their hands. Even one shoe or half-finished drinks in a house are minitature. How amazing! The Tokusatsu Museum is held for a limited time only this summer.
