“Some people believe that the best approach to effective time management is to make detailed daily and long-term plans and then to adhere to them. However, this highly structured approach to work is counterproductive. Time management needs to be flexible so that employees can respond to unexpected problems as they arise.”
Discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the opinion expressed above. Support your point of view with reasons and/or example from your own experience, or reading.
Many people feel that making detailed daily and long-term plans is counterproductive. On the other hand, it can be noted that highly structured approach to work is believed the best management tool. In this discussion, I shall present argument favoring the latter statement and refuting the former statement.
Management that is to make detailed daily and long-term plans and to adhere to them can clearly see the problem. If you do not have the plan, you would not find out whether a task now conducted is delay or progress. Moreover, if you do not know the problem precisely, you could not countermeasure the problem. This is what I truly point out this statement.
Of course, employees may respond unexpected behavior some times. But this problem can be avoided by some devices. First, the plan is include the times that deal with the unexpected problems. When you make the plan, you must count on to occur the unexpected problem. Thus, if the unexpected problem occurred, you might not modify you first plan to deal with the problem. For example, in information technology software industry, the people who project manager must do so. Therefore, if some problems occurred unexpectedly, they could deal with them in time.
Second, manager has to prevent the problem. Employee who conducts unexpectedly does not find out purpose of his job truly. This is most caused of little explanation or communication with a manager. For instance, in the IT software industry, the product is not visible and not easy to check immediately. Therefore, the less check you conducted, the more problem occurred. This situation just can be avoid by frequent confirm for truly understanding. If the manager communicated with employees well, the employees might not respond unexpected problem.
Last, the device that can make plan productive is to review the employee’s work finely and frequently. If your employee mistakes or misunderstands the purpose of its job and the failure work took a long time, you would not conduct the project in time. However, if the failure took only a little time, you would get back easy.
As the example above illustrates, making the detailed daily and long-term plans and then to adhere to them is definitely productive.

Time management needs to be flexible so that employees can respond to unexpected problems as they arise.”(Although this sentence is grammatically correct it would be more appropriate to say "... respond to unexpected problems that may arise." )
Support your point of view with reasons and/or examples from your own experiences or research. "
Many people feel that making detailed and long-term plans on a daily basis is counterproductive.
On the other hand, it can be noted that a highly structured approach to work is believed to be the best management tool.
In this discussion, I shall present an argument in favouring of the latter statement and will refute the former one.
Management that is to involves making detailed ,daily and long-term plans and adhering to them. This way we can get a clearer insight of any possible problems that may arise.
If you do not have the a plan, you will not know what to expect or be able to figure out as to whether the task now you are about to conducted will progress or be delayed.
Moreover, if you do not understand the problem precisely, you will not be able to countermeasure the problem.
This is what I truly point out this statement points out that,
Although, employees may have to respond to unexpected/ unforeseen situations at times,
such problems/situations can usually be avoided by taking some precautions.
First, the plan must include/consider the best way to deal with a problems if it occurs unexpectedly.
When you making a plan, you must also consider what would be the best time to deal with a problem in accordance to when it happens and the type of issue.(E.g- If a technical problem occurs on a late friday afternoon and the next day is a holiday, when should action be taken and approximately how long should it take to resolve it?)
Thus, if the an unexpected problem does occurred, you might not have to modify your first plans or make new ones in order to deal it.
For example, in an information & technology software industry, the project managers must have some sort of backup plan.
Therefore, if some problems do occurred unexpectedly, they can then deal with them in time.
Secondly, the manager must also take precautionary measureshas to prevent the problems from occuring in the first place.
Employees usually do who conducts unexpectedly does not find realise the true importance and responsibility of a manager. (I was not sure what you meant by this sentence, so I am really sorry if this correction does not convey what you wanted to say.)
This is mostly caused due to the lack of little explanation or communication between the manager and employee.
For instance, in the IT software industry,a certain product is not always available and not as easy to check immediately.
Therefore, the less checks you conducted, the more problems occurred.
This situation just can be avoid just by frequently confirming that everyone understands the issues involved.for truly understanding.
If the manager communicates well with his/her employees well, the employees might not respond unexpected to the problem inadequately.
Lastly, the device one of the measures that you can take to ensure a plan is productive is to review the employee’s work carefully and frequently.
If your employee make a mistakes or misunderstands the objective of his task job and thus fails to meet the target on time, work took a long time, your project will be delayed.
However, if the setback/delay was a small one, you will get back on track in no time.
As the example above illustrates, making the detailed daily and long-term plans and then to adhering to them is definitely productive indeed.
Your essay is quite good.
I am really sorry if some of my corrections are not
accurate in conveying what you wanted to say.
I wasnt quite sure about certain sentences.
Hope this helps though.
All the best
Dimto.
