Today in school I felt weird.
Many things we know well obviously today doesn't seem to be things we knew before.
The things about human rights, women rights, or races.\
We know what is right what is wrong.
Even when some people do wrong about those things at least they can feel shameness.
But what if I was in the past? the past when we treated blacks as slaves, when we thought women waren't supposed to vote.
Could I think right? could I be sure what I was doing? or could I be brave enogh to say 'No'?

Nowadays when I think about my gorvenment and media I can't believe them.. I feel like there is something which can make me believe lies, wrong things...

When I watch the news, when I read papers I'm not sure things i'm seeing are true or not.
A few days ago I read one sentence 'History is winner's'
I agreed and I also thought it seemed easire to know about truths and justices when we see the history as an outsider than when we see it as we're concerned in it.
I really want to have eyes which can see right things even though people don't think so and want to be brave about my belifs.

jjong : a big day (0)

Today was the biggest weekend since I came back from an holiday.
I went on a short trip with my flatmates to some places where Arch and Judy usually go for a picnic.
We made some sandwiches this afternoon and drove a car to Tepuke, Mekapu and the private beach.
That beach was a quiet and peaceful place which is definitely different to Mount's beach (Of course Mount beach is the best for me! )
Talking about a fishing, we had sandwiches and walked around the bay,
When I was walking down the sea I saw a boy who caught a fish which was big as much as his own body.

After the trip I visited Judy's sister.
Judy often told about her sister who is an artist and a journalist living near our house.
Every time Judy found me drawing, she said it would be great if I meat her sister and show works each other.
Judy drove me to there . Jeniss, Judy's older sister was just amazing !!
I couldn't stop making funny sound (like 'wowo' 'ah~~')when I saw her works..

We had totally different style as Judy told me.
I was really ashame and was shy when I showd her my works
but thanks to her, she didn't laugh at them ,gave me grateful compliments, in stead.
It was a very impressive time for me.

jjong : writing (0)

I tried to write a short entry with a given sentence.

[I kewn it was going to be a bad day as soon as I heard
the phone ringing at 6 a.m.]

It was from my friend and she asked me why I haven't been at
morning class today.
I didn't understand what exactly she said at the moment.
When she told that how important the next class was I realised my
clock didn't work! I jumped with surprise it was half past 9 a.m!!

I wore clothes which I spotted first as soon as I could and rushed out.

When I was on the half way to the bus stop, however, it was going to from bad to worse.
The rain was started and it was not that light rain so I had to return
to get my umbrella.
When I got off the bus in front of my school I realised that I forgot leaving the important report on the table in my living room.

I had no choice but to call my little brother to ask him to bring my report.
I had to wheedle him that I would give him some pocket money.

In 20mins he arrived my school entrance with the report by the taxi.

It was nearly 11o'clock which my class is started .
I made another frantic rush to class room and faced a notice on the door " today, class had been cancelled for business trip"

what a wonderful day!! hehe

We have a new staff in our sushi bar .
I should teach him because I was a new one before he came my work.
He is not really good at this work.. and very slow but I couldn't tell him to do something more quickly I was not good at the first time as well and he's older than me.
I found it hard to teach someone who is older than me , who seems doesn't like to have any passion for one's job.

Today I cleaned up our shop with him and it was such a disaster to me.
Maybe he didn't think that he did everything so slow.
I had to do extra things he hasn't even started to before he recalled them.
That wasn't a problem..but what I really worry is about my boss.
Thought he doesn't like a new staff for some reasons all we other staffs can guess and He wanted me to teach a new staff...
It means if he made any mistakes I would have something like a 'hardtime' for that.
I just wish he'd do more eagerly ..

jjong : drawing perspective things. (0)

Last sunday I went out to draw some buildings with Jess to improve our perspective.
It wasn't really easy. When you draw natural things like trees, stones or cloud it doesn't metter how the line goes . when you draw buildings cars or mobile phones, however, the very tiny mistake can make the picture look so strange.
We were shocked how we were not good at 'drawing perspective things'. I haven't drew such things for ages I've been only draw what I wanted or haven't even drew anything sometimes.
After we made the third land scape we couldn't keep drawing on because the weather was getting cold and windy.
I tried to draw other else at home as thought my pictures were getting better.
I have to keep reminding my self that i don't have much time and should be awake at least 9am every morning then I can study Eng or draw something before I go to work.

jjong : The light house keeper (0)

The text I read this morning was about a photograph which has been given to a writer as his birthday present.
The photograph showing a light house being surrounded by a terrible huge wave during a storm was very dramatic.
There is a man near the door way.

As most people do, the writher, reached his thinking to the fact that the photograph was taken just before the light house keeper's death, thought it was really horrible.

He couldn't accept that someone made money out of the photograph taken a few minutes before someone else's last life time.

Even though he put that photograph off the wall which it had been hung on, however, he couldn't get it out of his mind and decided to connect to the photographer.

He searched the internet for ages, coudldn't find anything about the photographer but the company selling that photo.
To his surprised, he found out a real story about the photo in that.

The company seemed to be taken flood of complans about that poor
house keeper and such a heartless photographer.
They left an explaination with some extra photos showing the house keeper walked in to the door without any harm.

They said the house keeper heard a sound of a helicopter and was very intrigued. In spite of the danger, he opened the door and walke out so that he could have a look what was going on then as solve his curious, he walked back in to the light house.

The writer relieved that the keeper was safe but he's never known
what happened to the photographer after that photo was taken.

jjong : what am I supposed to do? (0)

I felt I was on the test by the god when I spot the second wallet in a week...
The first place I took a wallet up was in fornt of shopping mall which is near my home when I was going to my work place.
At the moment I didn't even think about that I would take it
because my bus was coming soon. I handed it to information centre in the shopping mall.
The following day I found another wallet in the bus...Nowadays I'm so terribley sick of lacking money... even though I m working. ( for my travelling...) but I gave it to the bus driver immediately.
I had no choice, even if no one saw that I took the wallet I would give it a policeman I can't help my self when I do something wrong or harm someone..-_- may be it's the 'conscience..' hoo
but what am I supposed to do ? I have a problem with my IRD number with my boss and no one knows how much I can get back tax when I go back to Korea. I'm looking for a flat which is cheaper than this home.

I got a job at sushi bar in Tauranga city.
The strange point was that this bar has Korean boss and Korean workers...!! ( I mean.. sushi is Japanese food ! ) and they make sushi from Korean ingredients.
By the way... It means I don't have any chance to speak English during I work.
I only say" Hello " " Thank U " or " Do you want some more??" like those... sometimes customers ask sometning but it's too short conversation.
Of course I knew about that If I had a job in that sushi bar I wouldn't use English.
Even if they have a foreigner worker we don't have time to talk to each other we have to serve all the sushi as soon as possible to customers.
In addition I have to wash dishes, wipe on the tables, decorate sushi, clean the hall and even counting.
Today was the first time that I managed counter.. It was just confusing time.. I tried to remember the price of sushi customers chose and
said hello ... I was terrible at math in my shcool T_T It made me lose confidence even though all calculating was managed with a machine.
I worry about that I can't speak English as much as when I was in school I don't think it's enough that I talk to Eli after working.

When I checked my txt after work there was Makoto's txt.
She invited me to her flat for christmas party (yeah!!) but she talked to me not to tell Jione about the party. I was surprised I thought they were very close to each other. When I asked her if there was somethind wrong between she and Jione, she said she just didn't like her..
I went to there with heaps of sushi for them and asked about Jione to Debby.
She told me that sometimes Jione's behavior was very rude . She insisted that Jione meaned her and her friend although she didn't do anything. I've never known about that. I wasn't in her class and I didn't feel she was rude.. sometimes I felt she seemed youger than me it was not too bad level when I talked it she reminded me more students don't like her either.
I told her I was not gonna thell anything about her thinking to Jione but I asked her to tell Jione about wrong behaviors otherwise she'd make same mistakes to other people I thought It's not good for her and other people as well and I don't want other students not to like Jione.. she is also my friend -_-... I hate this situation but I had no choice I can't tell Jione because I don't want to make thing harder...

We talked, ate, drank and played game with cards.
Uno was our favourite game we used to play this game in the shcool.
I suggested them to "writing name with ass" if they lost the game.
We made out a lot of victims kkkkk I had to write again my name in Korean when I lost the game because my English name is just on letter. I had to come home ealry to keep my energy for work tomorrow but it was really great time friends who are from all over the world are the best thing what I got here . Sweet as~ *a*

* I don't use a dictionary when I write diary at first .If you have any idea about the good vocabulary which can be placed with I used just let me know when you write comment for me chears ! :-)

I met such lovely friends from all of the world who I woudln't meet if I hadn't come here . I met the best Kiwi family I was really happy with them... and.. I got heaps of fats.. on my body, on my thigh, on the face ^^;... it's the only thing I didn't want to get.. anyway..

I learnt Swissgarmen (kkk) of course English..
I knew the teacher must be tired of listening it but I had to say to them. I was really really greatful that I met them..and thanks them.
I'd never been happy with study Eng in Korea I just did because I had to do it.. but now I really want to learn more from them..
they are the best..!!

I donn't think that I learnt about only Eng but also I learnt about
a good mind, a positive thinking, the right attitude that I have to have when I meet someone from other countries or when I face to face different culture to me. I have confidence as well I couldn't imagine that I can live alone in another country but I did, I'm doing there is nothing that I can't do ! Last three months here was the best time in my life !

now I'm going to get a job and going on travel !
hope I meet another good people and make awesome memories !

jjong : Billy~ (0)

I read 'Billy Elliot', a book I brorowed from Jackie.
The book is quite famous with a movie as well.
I've seen the movie before, but it was a long time ago.
The story of this book is about a boy who wanted to a ballet dancer.
In the first part of the book, He went to boxing classes because his father, his grandfather and his brother had also learned boxing and they believe that boxing was the very thing to make a boy into a MAN, not ballet. But billy didn't like boxing as much as them.
He didn't want to fight, didn't want to hit someone else.
Instead he loved dancing and singing.. with his grandmother Nan.
His father and brother, both are miner . They were on strike but they wouldn't win.
One day, afther the boxing class, Billy learned some ballet moves in Mrs.Wilkinson's calss by chance. She was one of Billy's class mate's mother.
He felt very happy and he could forget everything when he danced and Miss realized that Billy was very good at ballet.
It was too difficult to let his family understand that Billy really wanted to be a ballet dancer but they were family and could accept it.
A lot of people helped Billy to go to London for an audition.
When he went to the school for the audition, Billy was frightened of the posh otmsphere and after the audition he thought he wouldn't get in to the school but he did!! He would be a great ballet dancer.
Sometimes, no.. quite often, I can't understand people who make themselves depress. In my opinion, they never think about others feeling They only think about theirs hurt, theirs feeling, theirs hardship.
Even though they make somebody who is hearing theirs dissatisfaction, beefs, whine feel like... shit.
I think they very believe they are only victim of this unfair situation or believe that they never effect to anything of this result.
A few years ago, I thought I could see, understand, and agree to them cuz it looks so difficult for them to admit to their faults and the truth that they belong to the mistakes which make they feel sad. And probably, sometimes I did also. But it's too childish. It's nothing occur without themselves even though it seems like unfair for them everyting they blame is come from them.
It's pointless...

After school. I went to the post office which was in Bayfair to receive my package.
A few days ago my friend from Korea sent me a package for my birthday present. But when a postman came to the house to give me the package, there was no one home. So they left a card. I went to a crew in the office then asked her that if I could receive my package. Actually, I couldn't understand what she was saying because she spoke too fast.. I juast talked about my situation what ever she said ..-ㅅ-''
" I got this card last sunday and I chose a second sentence on internet.." Fortunately, there was my package that had been sent by my friend. There were a letter, a CD, and instant seaweed soup.
In Korea peopel eat seaweed soup on their birthday because it is very good for postpartum(?). At first only women who beared a baby ate see weed soup to recover their health . Nowadays, however, people who have their birthday eat seaweed soup. It's just a kinda symbolic meaning.

jjong : DVDs (0)

Eli who is my kiwibrother has heaps of DVDs.
He often recommends some DVDs as well I like watching movies.
So when I don't have something to do , I often watch DVDs.
I try to watch them without subtitles except some movies are too fast to understand for me, then I chose the Eng subtitle.
Today i watched 'Vanhelsing' and 'A butterfly effect'. Those were easier for me than others because both were movis I saw already.
I like Hue jack man but I prefered to ' a butterfly effect'.
It was a story about a man who could go back to the his past with his dairy which has been written by him for 6 years.
A man tried to fix his past to make a more happier present for everyone. But even though he tried again and again a situation went from bad to worse. He saw many awful results he made and got new menories.
As time goes by he was getting more exhausted.
Finally he fixed his past at last. At the end of movie I felt sad because of his choice..The most happy ending he could have had was that he and a woman who he loved were living without any relathion to each other.

I couldn't remember about school trips or school holidays maybe they weren't memorable things..... so I'm going to write about my family trip we had before I left Korea.
We were a big number. My family was 4 people and my two uncle's familes and my aunt as well as my grandmother.
We went to KangWonDo which is a famous Korean religion.
I was excited to our trip because I've not gone on the last family trip
because of my part time job. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the hotel it was raining.... and the weather was getting colder even though this season was summer!! So we couldn't do anything the first afternoon.
Adults were talking about their lives and I was hanging out with my cosins in the room when grandmother told us she wanted to go to a Karaoke with whole family. This night we had a great time in a Karaoke...kkkkk... My grandmother was very energitic and cheerful. She didn't want to be in the room for whole night with only a chatter. Next morning I was sure that we could go out because weather was wonderful for 'hanging out' ! We went to the 'waterpia' whice is a recreation park where we can enjoy heaps of pools. It was my happiest memory about a trip and a holiday I've had and that I can remember.

In the afternoon class we had a game which is a kind of board game. We had to find some verbs that suit the blanks.
But it was so difficult for us... and it seemd like it would never end....
of course, those verbs were very useful, but we were getting tired...
when the game was finishied, we all shouted with pleasure even Gerry who is teacher also was happy~~~
After school I opened my account ( finally~!! lazy girl)
Geoff had made a appointment for me yesterday.
I met Kathy who helped me to open an account.
she explained about accounts, she spoke slowly so it was easy to me :-) then she showed me a ATM machine and taught me how to use it.

coz I quitted my job and those are very boring days,
I have no idea what I should write about these days...
So, I'd like to explain to you about the 'Zero'.
I don't know if there is it in other countries~ It's a name of the game.
The game's rule is very simple.

It use two thumb fingers.
Grasp your hands and stick together them.
At that time, the back of the hands are facing the outside.
This is a basic pose of the 'Zero'
And raise your thumb fingers, shout a number at the same time.
You can raise a one thumb or two. But a number is limited.
You should shout number as less than number of people who participant in a game.
If a number you shouted is correct with number of fingers that people raised, you win. But it's not over.
People should stretch out one's hand in a front as soon as possible.
The last one is defeated.
And if a number is not correct with fingers, passover the turn.

If you shouted a "Zero" and is correct with number of fingers, apply the penal as much again as with number of people.

Also, If one stretch out one's hand by mistake, he has a penal.

There are various rules in each place, It's a pretty general rule.
