One of my students, who is a high-schooler, took the STEP test last weekend. She has taken a piano course at high school. She has been endeavoring to improve not only her piano skills but also English.
After taking the test, she had to take my regular lesson. She usually takes my lessons in the afternoon, but I had rearranged the time because the start of the exam had fallen on her lesson.
She told me she wasn't sure if she could pass or not. Anyway I hope she'll succeed in the exam. I'm going to check her answers later...

She usually takes my lessons in the afternoon, but I had rearranged the time because the start of the exam had clashed with her lesson. ("Fallen on" doesn't look right here.)
