iPhone 4

Last Saturday I dropped by an appliance store after my work. Although it was raining heavily, I had a whim to visit there. My cell phone was old type, so I thought it was time to change the new one.
I'm not familiar with that kind of gadget, so thoroughly I relied on the staff. One of the staff recommended that I get the newest type-iPhone 4 . I know the name, but I wasn't sure if I would be able to deal with the state-of-the-art model....However, I decided to get the model, taking all things into consideration. I always want to be immersed in English as much as possible during the times of the day, so the gadget comes in handy I thought.
After purchasing the newest model, right away I tried to take the necessary steps so that the new settings could take effect.
I managed to set everything, and downloaded all applications I'm interested in. To my surprise, there are tremendous free apps. Almost all of the apps I downloaded were related to English to improve my skills.
Anyway, it seems to take time for me to get used to using the phone....lol

My cell phone was (the) old type, so I thought it was time to change the new one. My cell phone was old-fashioned, so I thought it was about time to buy new one.
I didn't know much about the gadgets, so I asked a salesclerk some advice.
He (She) recommended me the newest type-iPhone 4 .
The name was familiar, but I wasn't sure how to use the state-of-the-art model....
After a long hesitation, I finally decided to get the one. うわ、すごい！
Since I'd been always wanting to study English, the gadget would be useful, I thought.
As soon as I got home, I tried the new one.
I managed to download all applications I'd been interested in.
I found that there were lots of free apps on the Net. そうなんだ～～～。
Some of them seemed helpful to improve my English.
I know it might take time to get used to the new phone, I'm pretty happy now!

I'm aftaid, but I can't do that because I'm Japanese and one of English learners. I might be able to tell you about abvious grammatical mistakes, though. As for the expressions or sentences, I try not to point out to other learners.
あくまでもnon-nativeですし、ネイティブ並みのスキルは持っていないので、、、。
I don't go out of my way to point out. Even if I tell other learners about other ways in order to improve our skills, there's no way, though, I'll offer at first without my suggestions.
