Each country has unique qulities to represent its own culture. Those are shopping, sightseeing, and cuisine. Above all, I think Korean traditional food has a very special qualitiy in many ways. Korean food is so popular because of its freshness, health benefits, and taste. For example, rice cake, Teok is a well-known food for foreigners. I could see various fusion Teok at the Korean Teok exhibition that was held in Seoul last year. It was Fusion Teok that attracted my foreign friend as well as me. Some of them are carved roses and are with chocolate, strawberry syrup or fresh cream.
To globlaize Korean food, we need to recreate new version of our traditinal food. For example, the Kimchi which it does not smell bad or has disgusting smell for some foriegners may be one of favorite food.
