My wife and children isn't at home now.
They are getting a short summer holiday and visiting my wife's home.
Thus my house is very quiet. Yes, I haven't had such a silent time over a year.
I feel calm and have my time, but I also feel a little lonely.
To tell the truth, I also want to go with them, if I could.
It can't be helped because I have to do my important job.

Yes, I haven't had such a silent time over a year. ( you can always replace the word "silent " with "peaceful" it is much more natural when you say it) :)
