To buy (new computer), or not to buy, that is a question

I used to take photos of my family by digital camera.
All of them are saved as digital images, and I maintain them by Google picasa, digital asset management software.
Though I cannot share them for my family smoothly. The reason is my family have to see my notebook's display, but it is too small to be seen by plural people.
So now I am considering to buy a new computer, which can connect to television monitor.
The issue is my present computer is healthy, quite good condition, and I don't need to replace it if I use it for daily purpose except for managing photo data.
To buy, or not to buy, that is a question.
