Nice to hear from you again, and well to know that not only in Germany the accounting department has always strange behaviours.

Well, what I would like to sa yis not that they don´t save money, but they don´t earn (ได้เงิน), so it was a bit confusing.

The thing is that this department is just a administration office, and no function of earning money. But they act like they are something better- in true they have lowest priority in a company...

Accounting is a stressful job. Accountants constantly deal with numbers, structures and rules. Their lives revolve around the pressure of deadlines and minuscule numerical errors. Maybe they're really stressed out and their actions came out as arrogant. Or they were once really great at school (accounting is hard!) and now they think they're better than everyone at work place.

I wonder how they act...I have a lot of friends in accounting major and some are already working in companies. But they are nice people in general so I really wonder how they can be so mean at work. =P

You are right, it is their job to be strict- it is kind of opposite of my job- I have to be creative ot bring money to my company- no wonder that there is always a confrontation... . But those peoples mostly judge their status wrong, I think. ´cause they live in a little world- full with numbers and templates and spreadsheet...
