I stayed over my boyfriend house last night.
He is living with a roommate. and another his friend is staying at his place now.
My boyfriend made me breakfast in this mornig. That was nice actually. My bf and hid friends started to talking. I didn't understand what they were talking. One of them suddenly bursted into laughter. I think my bf said a joke...I don't know...I was like isolated from them. I know I have to study English more...but to understand a joke in English is way HARD!!!!!

No offense to Box, but the last sentence is perfect the way Yosuke wrote it. "way hard" is very casual, and you would not write it in a letter to your boss, but for a diary entry it is good and sounds natural. "to understand a joke" and "understanding a joke" are both correct.
