Hey! hello!!
This time I brought you a song that I like and I wanted to translate from Japanese. As you can see, the song has some verses in English and others in Japanese. Next time I would like to translate the complete song to Spanish, but first I wanna know if I my translations are alright. Could you correct me please? Thanks a lot! ^^ I appreciate your help!

It’s Hard to say my mind
君の声を確かめたい (I would like to confirm your voice)
Can you tell me your height
届かずに沈むため息 (a sigh sinks without reaching)

If you searching for the shine
その手を離さない (don’t let go that hand)
きっと巡り会う (meeting by chance)
dreaming of you
遥かな旅へ (travelling to far)

あの日の約束は (the promise of that day)
永遠の道しるべ (the eternal guide)
彷徨う時間いつかきっと会える (since when you surely loitered)

その日 が来るまでは (until that day comes)
君の影で眠る (your shadow is going to sleep)
I don’t know
but I believe that coming true the day
we both know

It’s Hard to say your mind
輝く眩しい横顔 (the dazzling profile shines)
I can tell you my own
君が許してくれるなら (if you let me)

If you searching for the shadow
この手を伸ばし (extend this hand)
きっと巡り会う (meeting by chance)
dreaming of you
僕でいいなら (if it’s possible for me)

I don’t wanna see you feeling blue
I don’t wanna see your light is gone
永久なる時間いつかきっと会える (it becomes eternal, when you surely --) [sorry! I didn't know what to put here :S]

その日が来るまでは (until that day comes)
君を見守りたい (I will watch over you)
I don’t know but I believe that we can be the one
we both know

その日が来るまでは 君を見守りたい (until that day comes, I will watch over you)
I don’t know but I believe that I’ll going you
For be the one

Hey Fumika... do you think my translation is really fine? I mean, what about that phrase I couldn't understand?

You did a good job, nori!

I think it's difficult to translate poems or phrases of a song.
I have no sense. Haha.

Anyway, it's a beautiful song. I like it :)

Hola. Traduje las frases del japonés al inglés. Fue un poco difícil hacerlo, pero me alegro de que mis sugerencias te ayuden a entender japonés :D

Oh naoki!! no tienes idea de lo mucho que me ayudaste! de veras lo aprecio!!!!!
muchas muchas muuuchas gracias!!!!!!!!!!!
tengo una duda... Cuál sería entonces la traducción de きっと巡り会う?
Jun 27th 2010 22:52 naoki

"きっと" significa "surely"
"巡り合う" significa "to meet by chance"

"Surely" and "by chance" are paradoxical each other, but such a paradox is often used in lyrics, and it's interesting because human destiny isn't simple :D

La traducción de "きっと巡り会う" sería "Surely, I'll be able to meet you by chance"
