I found a phrase from Mahatma Gandhi, "Seven Blunders of the World". He picked up the men as one of the blunders, who try to get wealth without work.
I gasped with looking at this aphorism.

I absolutely aim to get wealth without work. I'm studying hard for this purpose.
I want to make a web service like lang-8. Once the service works well, I'll probably get wealth without hard work because Internet service works automatically.
I don't want to be millionaire but I have a trifling dream. For this dream I want to get money without hard work. If I get big money unexpectedly, I'll be willing to donate most of the income.

What would Gandhi say about my idea?

  • I gasped when I read this aphorism. (sounds more natural. aphorism isn't really necessary here but I left it in)

  • I don't want to be a millionaire but I have a trifling dream. (not sure if trifling fits in this context)

It's entirely possible to get money without hard work, but to expect this borders on folly. Even with internet services where money can come in automatically, it takes a lot of hard work to get to that point and they still need to be managed much like any business.

Study hard and work hard. You'll make the money eventually.

Thank you for correcting & commenting, madmerse!!
As you said, the service providers are going to be manage the chores. So it may be difficult to make a living without work.
However, it's not impossible, I think.
I'd probably be able to earn so much money with the least work.
Anyway, I want to be free from labour. It's not that I want to spend luxurious life.
Would Gandhi say "Bad" to me?

I'm not sure what Ghandi would really say there. I find nothing wrong in wanting to retire early.

i think websites like lang 8 can never stop being looked after by someone for a day.. there are lots of potential risks. but i believe that running a commercial website is a great way for easy money.--as long as you have an awsom good idea.

the fact is, most good ideas are already taken by someone else, and if you finally come up with a good idea and made it live, people will copy your website and make it even better than yours. so the key is, you really have to make it perfect since the start. and you need to put in lots of money to market it too:(

earning money online is tough!
