空想
Hell, I reckon becoming a delinquent. Yester morning I skipped my Japanese classes due to pure laziness, I haven't done my translation tasks due tonight, and still I keep reading "Wuthering Heights" and listening to J-Pop. Oh that goddammit Kotoko. The very time I hear it I reflect on the last ICFPC race. As the Eve passed, gradually my thoughts are there again. I guess I will be in Japan this year, though, but have I internet over there, watch me take part! Ancient temples at Kyoto? Gimme a break. The servers are still online, even the IRC bot is relentlessly following the empty conversations on #icfpc on rinet. And being bound for Okayama, that's where I belong.

I'm also reading WH! :D Or wait, I'm not, I never find the time, but I'm supposed to be reading it.
WH is great! :) I read it in Russian a while ago, and now, being somewhat temporarily fed up with my Japanese studies, managed to get to read in English :) Well, the language is really vivid and lively, in contrary to those one of the technical documentation, that I usually tend to read during office hours.
Last evening, my Japanese teacher, having been told about this, said that she'll bring some simple Japanese short stories to revive my interest in Japanese :) Anyway, she said that she is also fond of Bronte books. She's a great teacher, too bad she's married T_T
I absolutely love WH. I read it in English when I was 15, twice I think, and now I'm reading it in Russian (rather slowly!). Reading a mixture of fiction and non-fiction can be really good I think. Non-fiction is usually quite straight forward. I can read essays on linguistics and news rather easily in Russian, but WH is a whole other thing. Those who never read fictional works surely miss a big aspect of the language.
The best ones are always married you know!
