This is a letter I want to send to my old Chinese teacher ; please help me make it better ><" I've included the English of what I'd hoped to say, if it helps.
你好﹐ 李老師﹗
Hi, Mrs. Lee!
我開始我的大學第二年(可是我還想做高中學生。。。)
I'm starting my second year of college (but I still miss being a high schooler...)
我(was accepted into?) 中文201﹗考試很難﹐ 但是金老師說了我會(succeed?)﹐
要是我努力工作。 我上課的時候﹐只有兩個人﹗我一點怕。
I got into Chinese 201! The test was very hard, but the teacher said I could succeed if I worked hard. When I went to class, there were only two people! (Me and the other kid). I'm a little scared... Haha.
我有兩堂法文課﹐一堂德文課﹐ 中文課﹐ 技術性戲院(technical theatre?)課﹐
樂隊(band)﹐ 跟巴松管課(bassoon lessons).
I'm taking two French classes, a German class, Chinese, Technical Theatre, Concert Band, and Bassoon lessons.
因為我今年沒有同屋所以我很高興。我的去年的兩個同屋是Sally (我喜歡她) 跟
Jane(她是不好的人) ﹔ Sally住在我的屋子左邊和Jane 不回了大學﹗YAY﹗
This year I don't have any roommates, so I'm really happy. The roommates I had last year are Sally (I like her!) and Jane (a really bad person) ; Sally lives in the room to my left, and Jane never came back! Yay!
我也有我的車子所以 當然我回看你。
I also have my car this year, so I can definitely come back and visit.
Oh, 我有一條鋼筆﹗寫得很好玩。
Oh, I have a fountain pen. It's a lot of fun to write with.
請說“你好”給我的舊同學。
Please say "hi" to all my old classmates.
