i am learning japanese right now, i learned it in school a long time ago, but i forgot, so when i found lang8, i thought it was a good way to refresh my memory. i am a housewife and i live with my husband and my kids in mississippi, a state in USA. i have been to japan before, once when i was young, and i am looking forward to going again maybe next year or in two years as an anniversary gift from my husband, i'd like to be able to speak better japanese by then, but it's hard because in my area there are not many japanese people so i have little chance to practice, but if i can speak better, it'll be better.
since i want to improve on my japanese i plan to spend a lot of time on this website and write a lot of entries.
as i said before my japanese is really bad, so i'd apprecaite it if you can correct my entries. in return, i will correct your entries too, i can also help you if you have problems in english, just send me a message or something, and in order for me to keep track of your entries, it's better if we are friends so go ahead and send me a friend request too.
a note about how i correct entries on this site, i usually just correct mistakes because i think that everyone expresses themselves differently so it shouldn't be up to me or anyone else to correct the style, it is up to the entry writer if he wants to change or not, so generally i'll correct the spellings, wrong grammar, but that is the end if you feel like you want more corrections you can tell me and then i'll change the style too so it sounds like something a native speaker would say.
in my sparetime i like to cook, use the computer, listen to music (i love country music, especially tim mcgraw), watch movies, take walks with my family or my dog, improving my house, reading books, playing pool, being with my family and my friends, cleaning and learning japanese.
