Just to add some information. You don't put a Question Mark "?" after "How do you do" because in casual English speech it's usually not meant literally. Or in other words, you ask it but you don't expect an answer, you expect the person to just ask the same thing back.
Person one: How do you do.
Person two: How do you do.
... etc.
