Some questions I have about Japanese
I recently learned one the the euphemisms women use to refer to their period in Japan is 来客中. My main question is how are those 3 characters supposed to be read? らいきゃくちゅう? らいきゃくうち? The others involve different part of Japanese grammar.
The first one is なんて. I know it's used as a way to emphasize a statement, but are there other subtleties to it I should be aware of? Second would be the use of ありのまま. I have general idea, but what are some specifics I should be aware of?
Finally, I have a question revolving around how to use っけ. I was looking through the different example sentences for っけ, & took away 2 things. The first, was that it expresses someone isn't quite sure of what something is and is trying to remember, and the 2nd was it's use with mainly the plan form of です and the plain past tense. Is there anything else I should know about how to use っけ?
