I came back to Japan on Christmas day

here is much colder than where I lived in the U.

I didn't expect that I would need to wear warm clothes even while I'm in house

I'm shivering like a chihauhua every morning haha

Me and my family spent a new year's in Hakone

my family is goes to the Hakone shrine every year for Hatsumoude

and prays for something such as the family's health, etc.

but to me, the main part of Hatsumoude is the Omikuji!!

I felt like I could draw a 大吉(daikichi-Great blessing)

cause I haven't been trying to draw Omikuji for almost 2 years

and maybe my luck had accumlated for 2 years haha

I was standing at the Omikuji box and putted my hand in that,

closed my eyes and kept mixing omikuji until I felt one that I wanted to draw

one.

I picked one omikuji from the box and opened it slowly.

maybe people thought I was a creepy Omikuji maniac hahaha

after I tied my omikuji onto the branches

My family went to back to the hotel

but I feel this year is going to be the best year of my life

where we pray for making a wish such as family health or anything else.

But to me, the main part of Hatsumoude is Omikuji!!

They are sold at shrines(basically 100 yen or 200 yen),

and they are tied onto the branches of nearby trees, after being read by people, in hopes that their fortunes will come true and that any bad fortunes will be driven away.

I felt like I could draw 大吉 (daikichi-Great bressing),

because, even though I haven't been trying to draw Omikuji almost 2 years,

maybe my luck was accumlated for 2 years haha.

I was standing by a Omikuji box, and put my hand in it,

closed my eyes, and keep mixing omikuji until I felt as if I wanted to draw

one.

I picked one omikuji from box and peeled it slowly,

and I got a daikichi!!

I am so serious.

Maybe people thought that I was creepy, due to my Omikuji mania hahaha

After I tied my omikuji onto the braches,

my family went to back to the hotel.

It was 5:00am in the morning[BLUE],[/BLUE ]

but I felt this year was going to be the best year of my life.
