In Japanese books, is the narration in present tense or past tense??
For English books, It's always past tense.
But for Movie scripts, it's always present tense. I wanted to make "Anata no Koe ga" read like a movie script (present tense). Does that bother you when you read it in present tense?

六週間にもうなってきて言っても、感じていないです。この学期が数日に始めたばかりだと感じるんですから。
でも、楽しかったし、新しい友達ができたし、そして、
２Dと３Dアニメションのことがもっと上手になったと思うんですけど。
３Dアニメションのクラスで、ファイナルファンタシーのクラウドの剣が作成のことができて、嬉しくなったんだ。とくに私の初めてでしたから。○(＾▽＾)○
２Dアニメションのクラスには、短いアニメを作成しなきゃ。先生が何でもいいと言われて、私のアニメは少女と少女の犬の子のことに決めたんだ。二分だけにならなければならないと言われた。
でも、私はそのタイムリミットがちょっと短すぎると思うんです。だから、先生は物語が欲しがっているので、物語を作りにくそうなんですね？？？

とにがく、そのかわりに、新しい友達と映画館に行ったり、私の車でハリウッドやビベリーヒルズに行ったり（ロスは二年間に住んでいたのに）、ヘルシーヨーグルト（Frozen Yogurt)食べたりしました。すごく楽しかったんです！

あっ、そうか！ソールカリバーのビデオゲームを買ってきたんだ！でも、すごく忙しいので、暇じゃなかったんです。（涙目）

だから、メリーランドへ帰った日に（12月13日）一回だけ飲みました。

私、一見ハッピーヅランク（happy drunk）になりました。ハハハ

ところで、日本語のクラスを取ることが続けませんでした。（T＿T）

I took a shower and got dressed up, ready to do my Japanese homework before my Japanese Class.
Japanese Class is my first class every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

I got online, checking my Facebook, and checking my mail. Then, I saw the news reports of North Korea and South Korea, making me immediately worried.

How could they do that? And why? Why start hurting people again? No reason is a good reason to hurt innocent lives. They should leave South Korea alone. They should leave Japan alone (if they want to attack Japan too) They should leave everyone alone.

In college, we often talk about North Korea and South Korea. We wonder if they will ever become one good nation or stay as two divided nations with so many insecurities. Families have been separated, good friends have been separated, and they have been forced to fight each other. The soldiers in Korea are like puppets and the Government is the puppet master. North Korea should stop.

Anyway, about my story. My story has always been about North Korea, South Korea, and Japan. It is only fiction with some true facts. If things worsen in the Koreas, I will slightly change my story. I do not want to hurt anyone's feelings on Lang-8.com. But if you think it is OK to talk about the Koreas and Japan, please tell me.

I often hear different types of Japanese dialects in Japanese shows. Animes and dramas. I know the Osaka dialect (but it is hard to understand them since americans learn standard Japanese haha) by just listening but I do not know how to speak it or write it.

But endings such as かい and だい and this さ　makes me wonder about their counter parts.

examples:

アメリカ人はどうだい？
本当かい？
俺さ、それを触らないさ。

Perhaps my examples are not correct but I hope the general meaning was understood.

Are these parts of different dialects?
Please tell me about them. Thank you! I would like to understand them better so that I can have my characters in the story talk a little more like the way I hear them in my head. (^_^)

Oh and how do people from Takayama Nagano Prefecture speak???

How is everyone doing???

I have 2 jobs right now for the summer so I am very busy. I actually don't like my second job because we have to go to other people's houses and sell them kitchen knives. The kitchen knives are VERY good! high quality, beautiful, and last you forever (honestly, they do!) but they are somewhat expensive. (T_T).

My first job is an office job. I do administrative work. My dad is the boss or CEO of the company. He works with the Chinese government, many U.S. governments including the Federal Government, and several governments in Europe. He travels a lot haha.

I am sorry for the BIG break in Chapter 5 of あなたの声が (>_<) I do plan to continue it. Chapter 5 was not even finished. The next post on Lang-8 should be the other half of Chapter 5. I am going to work on the story this weekend (YAY!!) so hopefully it will be up by next Tuesday ^_^

①　私はUSC（南カリフォルニアの大学）のキャンパスに戻りました。
②　私は優しい女と東京国際大学のことと南山大学のことを話しました。
③　私達はホストファミリのことも話しました。
④　授業料も…でも！授業料はちょっと安そうですね。(^_^)
⑤　で、私達は日本の方のことを話しましたけど。私はちょっと悲しくなって…　ですから、質問がありますよ。
⑥　その後、私はアパートに帰って第五章のことを訂正しました。（ず〜っと時間がかかりましたねー。二時間がかかりました！でも、たくさん学びました。ありがとうございます！）
⑦　それから、学生達が水曜日の午後五時までに部屋を掃除しなければなりませんから、今日、私は掃除を始めました。今、全部を掃除したので私はもう掃除しなくてもいいです！嬉しい！（寝る時間！（笑）。
⑧　シックスフラグという遊園地を知っていますか。もしアメリカに来たら、その遊園地へ行かなくてはいけません！とっても楽しい所ですよ！今、私は安いきっぷを探しています。また、私の彼氏はカリフォルニアに来ますから、私はホテルの予約も探しています。
⑨　忘れました！掃除のことなんですけど。私の部屋は掃除機はありません。だから、私は他のアパートに行かなくてはいかなって彼らの掃除機を借りました。恥ずかしくないけど…私は出来たときにもう夜になって彼らは消えました。（T＿T）

We talked about a college boy who went to Japan to study abroad. He was a black guy. Some Japanese asked him hurtful questions like, 'do you have a gun?' and 'do you own a gun?'. He did not like that.
I was shocked when I read his comment about some Japanese people. Everyone has thoughts about different cultures and races but I thought those questions were mean.
Anyone can have a gun.
I don't like guns.
I'm just a writer ^_^ hahaha

I hope that when I go to Japan people do not ask me if I have a gun because of what I am. It is rude and ignorant. It hurts some people's hearts.

Actually... it began on friday because I turned in my last essay.

But I had wanted to rest before saying anything on Lang-8 because I did not get much sleep from last sunday to this passed friday.

The one thing that I am scared of doing is...
forgetting all the new kanji we had learned this semester (T_T)
I don't want to forget anything!
I also don't want to forget the new vocabulary either! (T_T)
That would suck.

Anyway besides that, I can continue the story 'Your voice...".
Honestly, when I had started writing the story, I did not know what was going to happen. First it was going to be a creative entry... then I wanted to make it a story... BUT I did not think of a story in my head. I was creating it without thinking, (hehehe).

NOW! I have made a real story on paper (a summary actually), and the story will be better. I will have to use the dictionary sometimes but that's okay. No one is here to teach me new words, so I will teach myself.

One more thing: Thank you everyone for helping me with my Japanese! You all are great friends and helpers!

暁さん：はい、分かりました。

暁さんが佐藤さんの事務所のドアを閉めながら、彼の目が道子さんを見つけました。彼女は暁さんを見ます。彼は道子さんに同じ方向を歩き出して…

道子さんは突然内気になります。

道子さん：あのう…暁さんでしょう？
暁さん：そう。

彼らは学生や先生やロッカーを遠ています。

道子さん：私の名前は道子です。どぞうよろしく。
暁さん：そうか。
道子さん：…留学生だそうですよ。日本に来た前にどこに住んでいましたか。

暁さんは初めて彼女を見て歩くことを止めます。止めたので、道子さんは止めなければなりません。
暁さんは話しましたが、声がちょっと優しくありませんでした。

暁さん：それが何だ？

少女の声は他の声に寂しいかと聞きます。『寂しいだろう？』って…『私が幸せを見せてくれる。』
彼の悲しい声が消えて誰かは嬉しく泣いています。


道子さんは不意に目覚めて手で顔を触ります。落ちた涙があります。道子さんは囁きます。

道子さん：悲しすぎる…あの声…

道子さんはデジタル時計を見て時計の近く携帯電話を得ました。
午後九時半です。まだ月曜日です。
道子さんが携帯電話を開けて茜さんの番号を探して見つけます。

〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜

茜さんのお母さん：歌がとっても好きなんですよ〜！
茜さん：ね、母ちゃん、もう聞こえれないよ…

お母さんは料理を作ってながら踊っています。シャブシャブの料理を作っています。

茜さんのお母さん：ホラ、ホラ！見て！私は踊れますよ〜！リンさんは素晴しいですね！彼女の歌は…素晴しい！

茜さんは諦めて食卓で座ります。リンという有名な日本のバンドの音楽をihomeから聞こえていました。

茜さん：もういい、母ちゃん。たったリンじゃない？
茜さんのお母さん：何ですって？！リンさんは音楽が作れますよ！聞かなければなりません！
茜さん：私はもう〜聞こえてるよ〜。
茜さんのお母さん：子供達ねぇー。たったリンじゃないって…とっとっとっとってもビックリしましたよ。和楽器ね、今の和楽ね…その音楽を会わせる時に素晴しい物にしますよ。なんとか…ちがう物です。面白くありませんか。
茜さん：ね、話がある。
茜さんのあ母さん：聞いていますよ。
茜さん：あまり構わない！もうihomeを消してよ…
茜さんのお母さん：消しません。
茜さん：消せ！
茜さんのお母さん：消しませんと言いました。

茜さん立ってihomeに向かいます。

茜さんのお母さん：え！何をするつもりですか！
茜さん：私が消すつもりですよ。母ちゃんが私を止めてみるつもりですか〜。

お母さんは怖くなります。

茜さんのお母さん：もし消したら…
茜さん：ihomeは同じ歌を繰り返すなぁ〜。
茜さんのお母さん：でも…消したら…晩ご飯が作れません…

茜さんの指はihomeの近くにあります。
お母さんの目が大きくなります。

茜さんのお母さん：だめです！

茜さんは笑います。

茜さん：だめ…かな〜？

茜さんはお母さんと茜さんの懈怠電話を不意に聞こえます。
茜さんの歯を食いしばってながら彼女のお母さんはにやつきます。

茜さんのお母さん：勝ちますよ。
茜さん：とりあえずね。

茜さんは台所を出します。

茜さんのお母さん：フフフ。
茜さん：母ちゃんの声、聞こえた！
茜さんのお母さん：あっ、すみませ〜ん！

茜さんの携帯電話は他の部屋にあります。携帯電話がもう鳴らしません。茜さんは掛けた人を見ます。

茜さん：道子？何かあったのかな…


Three days later...
It's Monday.

Since lunch time is almost over, the energetic students are going back to the school building. However, Akatsuki did not have lunch. He was in Satou Sensei's office. Now Akatsuki is getting out of the office.

Satou Sensei: Do you understand? Bring in your essay next week Monday, okay? Please don't forget.
Akatsuki: I understand.

Whilst Akatsuki closes the door to Satou Sensei's office, his eyes find Michiko. She sees him. He starts to walk in the same direction as her.

Michiko suddenly becomes shy.

Michiko: Umm... Akatsuki, right?
Akatsuki: Yea.

They are passing by students, teachers, and lockers.

Michiko: My name is Michiko. It's a pleasure to meet you.
Akatsuki: Is that so.
Michiko: ... I hear that you are a foreign exchange student. Before you came to Japan, where were you living?

For the first time Akatsuki looks at her and stops walking. Because he stopped, Michiko had to stop walking as well.
Akatsuki spoke but his voice was not that kind.

Akatsuki: What about it?
Michiko: Huh?
Akatsuki: Leave me alone.
Michiko: What?
Akatsuki: I said 'leave me alone' didn't I?
Michiko: But... I... had wanted to...

Akatsuki laughs.

Akatsuki: You're so weak. Ah, no. That was mean, wasn't it? I mean...

Akatsuki bows and his voice becomes kind.

Akatsuki: If you would excuse me, my Lady Michiko.

After he stood up, he smiled once more and left.

Michiko was really shocked and a little angry.

At the English literature classroom...

Class had already began. Everyone is in the class but Ryusuke is late again. The teacher of this class is Satou Sensei. He has a very strict face, he is a little tall, and has a boring face.

Satou Sensei is talking.

Satou Sensei: Today, we will read Frost's poems. Please open up your books.

As the students open up their books, the teacher is writing on the blackboard.

Satou Sensei: Robert Frost was born in March 26th, 1874. In America he is a very famous person. He had written a lot of poems.

Satou Sensei looks at his students and talks some more.

Satou Sensei: Everyone brought their books, correct? Such good students, aren't you all. Well, does someone want to read?

No one is raising their hand.

Satou Sensei: Anyone who wants to read? Anyone who doesn't want to read? I see. That's just terrible. Because someone will have to read. Let's see...

Ryusuke unexpectedly enters into the classroom.

Satou Sensei: Ryusuke-kun?

Ryusuke is a little embarrassed. He bows and replies.

Ryusuke: I'm really sorry for being late!
Satou Sensei: Geez, you're always late. Sit down.
Ryusuke: Yes sir.

He rises and goes to take a seat near Akatsuki.
Satou Sensei talks to the students again.

Satou Sensei: If it's the case that no one wants to read, then does being in groups sound? Groups of two will be allowed I think. As well as groups of three. Hurry up everyone.

Ryusuke talks to himself.

Ryusuke: Why couldn't someone just read? Tch....

Ryusuke takes out his book from his back and places it on his desk.

Ryusuke: If only I had came quickly to class...
Akatsuki: Hey uh... shall we be partners?

Ryusuke looks at Akatsuki and smiles.

Ryusuke: It can't be helped, now can it?
Akatsuki: What do you mean by that?
Ryusuke: Nah, it's nothing. (^_^)

They sit together.

Satou Sensei: Look at page 20. I want everyone to read and talk to their partner about the poems. Understood? Now then, begin.

Ryusuke: Alriiiiight.
Akatsuki: Which poem? There are two poems on this page.
Ryusuke: You're right. We'll read the first one.
Akatsuki: Okay.
Ryusuke: Alright then, shall we read?

They read the poem:

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I...
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Ryusuke: What's the meaning? I just don't get it! Errrr, English...
Akatsuki: It's about roads.
Ryusuke: I got that! What's the other meaning?
Akatsuki: Ahhh... about that... He... probably is using the roads that no one really walks on. Also, because no one walks there, he is different... I think. In English they may say "unique person". I think he wants to see different things.
Ryusuke: I seeee... You're pretty damn smart.
Akatsuki: No. I understand English a little bit.

Satou Sensei: Has everyone read? Has everyone talked about the poems?
Everyone: Yeeess.
Satou Sensei: Well then, I wonder what you all learned. Will you tell me?

The school bell rings.

Satou Sensei: Lucky, huh? Okay, homework is on the internet. See you all tomorrow.

The students are getting out of the classroom.

Ryusuke: Alright! Free time!
Akatsuki: What do you intend to do now?
Ryusuke: I'm going back home. But first I plane to go meet a friend.
Akatsuki: I see.
Ryusuke: You?
Akatsuki: I don't know.

They are outside of the classroom. They turn to the right and begin to walk.

Ryusuke: You want to come with me?
Akatsuki: With you?
Ryusuke: Yea. Is it a hard question?
Akatsuki: No. Can I ask you something?
Ryusuke: What is it?
Akatsuki: Your friends... who are they?
Ryusuke: Huh? The friend that I am going to meet?
Akatsuki: Yea.
Ryusuke: Lee. Do you know him?
Akatsuki: I don't think so. Well, I'm heading off. Tomorrow.
Ryusuke: Huh? Ah, yea, okay. Tomorrow then.

Akatsuki goes. Ryusuke is confused.

(Michiko's dream)

It's a dark place. There is a dark shadow of a human being.
Again the voice of a man is calling... calling.
Is it that person? Is it the person that is siting... over there?
Through someone's eyes Michiko can see the person. She can see that person's backside.
Acquaintances? Acquaintances... right?
The voice... is calling... and calling...
His voice sounds a little sad.
The girl's voice asks the other voice "are you lonely?" "You're lonely, right?"... "I will show you happiness."
His sad voice disappears and someone is happily crying.

Michiko suddenly wakes up and uses her hand to feel her face. There are fallen tears. Michiko whispers.

Michiko: So sad... that voice...

Michiko looks at her digital clock and gets her cellphone that is near the digital clock. It's 9:30. It's still Monday.
Michiko opens up her phone, looks for Akane's number, and finds it.

Akane's Mom: I really love this song!
Akane: Hey, mom, I can't hear it anymore...

The mom is dancing whilst making food. She is making the cuisine, Shabu Shabu.

Akane's Mom: Hey, hey! Look! I can dance! Rin is amazing! Her music is... amazing!

Akane gives up at sits at the dinner table. The music of the famous Japanese band, RIN is being heard from the ihome.

Akane: It's enough, Mom. Isn't it just RIN?
Akane's Mom: What did you say?! RIN can make music! You must listen to it!
Akane: I'm already hearing it...
Akane's Mom: Children.... "Isn't it just RIN"... I'm REALLY REALLY shocked! Traditional Japanese music, Japanese music of today; when they are combined It becomes a wonderful thing! How should I say... it's a different thing. Is that not interesting?
Akane: Hey, I have something to tell you.
Akane's Mom: I'm listening.
Akane: I don't really care! Turn the ihome off already....
Akane's Mom: I will not turn it off.
Akane: Turn it off!
Akane's Mom: I said I will not turn it off.

Akane stands up and heads for the ihome.

Akane's Mom: Huh? What are you intending on doing?!
Akane: I intend on turning it off. Do you intend on trying to stop me?

The Mom becomes scared.

Akane's Mom: If you turn it off...
Akane: The ihome has been repeating the same song...
Akane's Mom: But... If you turn it off... I won't be able to make dinner...

Akane's finger is near the ihome.
The Mom's eyes become huge.

Akane's Mom: Don't do it!

Akane smiles.

Akane: I wonder... if it's bad to do it..?

Akane and Akane's mother hear Akane's cellphone suddenly ring.
The Mom smirks as Akane clenches her teeth.

Akane's Mom: I win.
Akane: For now.

Akane gets out of the kitchen.

Akane's Mom: Mwhahaha.
Akane: I heard your voice!
Akane's Mom: Ah, Sorrrrrry!

Akane's cellphone is in another room. Her cellphone is not ringing anymore. Akane looks at the person who had called.

Akane: Michiko? I wonder if something had happened...

今日（金曜日）私は授業がありませんけど、まだ宿題がありますよ。
だから、勉強しなければなりませんね。

Right now I am writing Part 4.
Wait just a little more for me ^_^ .
Today (friday) I don't have classes but I still have homework.
So I have to study.

この時、Part 4の方がPart 3より長いかも知れませんけど、まだ分かりません。
話が変わりますが。

この話を書いているのはなんか…とっても楽しいですね！

ところで、私は好きなキャラクターがありますよ！悪いものかなあ。キャラクターを作ったからです。さぁ、ね。私の好きなキャラクターが茜さんです。どうしてですか。えっと、彼女は賑やかそうで友達のことが考える人で親切だからです。

Since I had created the characters. Who knows :-/
My favorite character is Akane. Why? Lets see... She seems lively, she's a person who thinks about her friends, and she's kind.

私は日本語で茜さんのことを説いてみている時に難しくなれますね。竜助さんと同じですよ。時々私は竜助さんが『話さねぇぞ』とか『見つけたぜ』と言いたいです。でも、そんなcasual speechのことがあまり分かりません。

When I try to explain Akane in Japanese, it can become hard. Same with Ryusuke. Sometimes I just want Ryusuke to say such things as "I ain't talkin' " and "I found ya" . But I do not really know much about that kind of casual speech.

竜助さん：何かあったんだ？

彼女は顔を赤らめながら、答えます。

茜さん：なんでここにいるの？！授業がないのか？

彼は話そうとしましたが、彼女が続けます。

茜さん：まぁ〜、いいけど。あ、そうだ！道子ちゃんはどこか？

竜助さんはため息をつきます。
彼らは学校の出入口に向かいます。昼時ですが、まだホールの中に学生が多くいます。

茜さん：彼女に話さなきゃ。
竜助さん：外でリーさんといると思うよ。
茜さん：ヘー！？今？！
竜助さん：そう。道子さんはちょっと…

茜さんは出入口のドアへ向かって走っています。

竜助さん：お〜い！僕は話してたんだよ！
茜さん：彼女を捜さなきゃ！

彼はもう一度ため息をつきました。彼の近くに恋人同士がいて、彼らは彼を見ています。竜助さんは彼らを見て眉をひそめます。

竜助さん：なんだ？

〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜

木の近くで、リーさんが昼ご飯を食べてながら、道子さんは宿題をしています。

リーさん：君も食べなきゃいけないんじゃない？

答えはありません。

リーさん：道子さん？宿題、あまり面白くないよ。…だろう？

道子さんは彼女の名前を呼ぶのが聞こえました。リーさんを見ます。あの声がリーさんの声じゃありませんでした。

道子さん：聞こえた？
リーさん：何を？

道子さんはまたその声を聞きました。女の人の声です。リーさんは笑います。

リーさん：君の親友か。怒ってるみたいだね〜。

今、彼らは彼女が見えます。茜さんはとてもにぎやかそうです。

茜さん：見〜つけた！

茜さんは道子さんを抱きしめてすぐ離しました。その後は道子さんの隣に座ります。

茜さん：どうして私に言わなかった？
道子さん：へ？
茜さん：あなたを待ってたんだ。どうして？もしかして…私のことが好きじゃないの？？？
道子さん：へ？
茜さん：『へ』って言わないで！心配したんだよ〜。

道子さんとリーさんも笑います。

道子さん：私のことが心配だったの？茜は？信じられない…
茜さん：いいよ。分かった。
リーさん：本当に分かったのか。
茜さん：うるさい…

道子さんとリーさんは同じように笑い、茜さんは他の学生を見ます。

リーさん：竜助くんはどこ？
茜さん：来るよ。
道子さん：前に竜助さんと居たの？
茜さん：うん。彼は私の後ろにいたよ。
リーさん：そうか。また彼は女の人に話しかけてると思うか。（笑い）
茜さん：たぶんね。おい、道子…
道子さん：？
茜さん：べんとうを持って来たの？
道子さん：持って来なかった。ごめん。
リーさん：君は道子さんの食事を食べるつもりだったんだ？
茜さん：もちろん！

竜助さんが着きます。

竜助さん：こんにちわ〜！
茜さん：今のどこにいたの？！おそい！
竜助さん：さ、さ。おちつけ。

彼はリーさんの側に座ります。

リーさん：頼む。茜ちゃんをどこかへ連れて行ってよ。
茜さん：うるさい！

三人の学生が笑っている時、竜助さんは答えます。

竜助さん：彼女はリーくんのことが好きだと思う。だから、僕はお前が彼女を飼う方がいいと思うよ。
茜さん：何？！私はペットじゃない！そんなことは言わないでよ！
竜助さん：ワンワン！

彼らは笑いますが、道子さんもう一回宿題をしょうとします。
茜さんはリーさんのおにぎりを掴みます。

リーさん：おっおい！返して！

おにぎりはもう口の中にあります。

リーさん：きみぃ〜！
茜さん：もう遅いよ。ご。め。ん。ね。

竜助さんはリーさんの肩をたたきます。

竜助さん：たぶん今度ね。茜ちゃんが勝ったんだな。

道子さんは突然宿題をやめます。

道子さん：あいつ…
茜さん：誰？
道子さん：あそこ。

男子学生は振り向きましたが、人が茜さんの右側から、彼女は振り向かなくてもいいです。

道子さん：彼の名前…暁。
茜さん：あの人が何？
竜助さん：あいつは何かしたのか？

沈黙。

リーさん：話して。
道子さん：クラスメートなの。彼は私の前に座っている。今日…あいつは私に話した…
竜助さん：それで？
道子さん：彼は私が元気じゃなさそうと言った。
竜助さん：本当のことだろう？
茜さん：竜助！
竜助さん：あ、いいよ！僕はもう話さないよ！
リーさん：道子、それは…それだけか。
道子さん：まぁ、ね。暁さんは留学生で、ぜんぜん話さないしいつも静かだしちょっと変な人だよ。友達がいるのかな。
リーさん：そうか。
竜助さん：あいつは僕の英文学の授業を受けるんだ。彼はあまりたくさんはやらないよ。座ってただ先生の話を聞くだけなんだ。
茜さん：つまらない人そうね〜。
竜助さん：あの人はひみつが多くあるだろうね！
リーさん：バカ言うな！どんなひみつがあるというの？

彼らは待ちながら、竜助さんは考えます。

竜助さん：殺人！
みなさん；殺人！？
リーさん：まさかっ！
茜さん：怖い〜。
道子さん：人殺しだとは思ってないよ。
竜助あさん：それはいいけど、家に帰る時、怖くならないでよな。あの人は家の中で君を待っているんだ。そして、彼はナイフを持っていますね。それから、僕が君に電話をかけて『言っただろう！言ったよね！』と言うんだ。どうだ？

また沈黙。

竜助さん：どうだ、みなさん？
道子さん：ばか。
竜助さん：何っ？
茜さん：聞いてないのか。ばかと言った！ところで、時間だよ。
竜助さん：授業？昼の休憩時間、もう終わったのか！あああああ！僕、遅い！
茜さん：ハハハ！またか。

竜助さんは学校のビルへ戻ります。

竜助さん：楽しくない〜！

リーさんは彼女らも立ちます。

リーさん：俺も行かなきゃよ。
道子さん：分かった。昨日、今日の午後の授業はキャンセルしたから、今家に帰る。
リーさん：気をつけてね。
道子さん：うん。
リーさん：茜ちゃんも、気をつけて。
茜さん：何？授業の後、私と帰らないの？
リーさん：出きないんだ。ごめん。会議があるから。
茜さん：そうか。そうね…
リーさん：じゃ、ね。

リーさんはクラスに行きます。茜さんは真面目になります。彼女は道子さんを見ていません。

茜さん：何かあったら、私に言ってね。
道子さん：茜？
茜さん：答えろ。
道子さん：言うよ。

茜さんは幸せになります。

茜さん：じゃ、明日ね！

彼女の返事を聞かないで、茜さんは学校の建物の中に行きます。

道子さん：じゃ…


Akane closes the door of the school's women's bathroom. She's angry. Her friend, Ryusuke, was waiting near the door. He is surprised.

Ryusuke: What happened?

Her face becomes red as she replies.

Akane: Why are you here!? You don't have class?

Ryusuke was going to speak but she continues.

Akane: Well, whatever. Oh, right! Where's Michiko?

Ryusuke sighs.
They are heading for the entrance of the school. It's lunch time but there are lot of students still in the halls.

Akane: I need to talk to her.
Ryusuke: She's outside with Lee I think.
Akane: WHAT?! RIGHT NOW?!
Ryusuke: Yea. Michiko seemed a litte...

Akane is running for the doors.

Ryusuke: HEEYY!! I WAS TALKING!
Akane: I need to find her!

He sighs once more. There is a couple near him and they are looking at him. Ryusuke looks at them and frowns.

Ryusuke: What?

Near a tree, Lee is eating his lunch whilst Michiko is doing her homework.

Lee: Don't you think you have to eat?

There is no answer.

Lee: Michiko? Homework isn't that interesting...right?

Michiko hears her name. She looks at Lee. That voice was not Lee's voice.

Michiko: Did you hear that?
Lee: Hear what?

Michoko hears the voice again. It's a woman's voice. Lee smiles.

Lee: It's your best friend, huh? She seems angryyy.　

They can now see the girl. Akane seems really lively.

Akane: I fooouuund yoouuu!

Akane embraces Michiko and quickly releases her. After that she sits next to her.

Akane: Why didn't you tell me?
Michiko: huh?
Akane: I had waited for you. Why? Could it be that... you don't like me???
Michiko: huh?
Akane: Don't say "huh"! I was worried!

Michiko, as well as Lee, smile.

Michiko: You were worried about me? Unbelievable...
Akane: It's okay. I get it.
Lee: Do you really get it?
Akane: Shut up.

As both Michiko and Lee laugh, Akane looks at other students.

Lee: Where's Ryusuke?
Akane: He's coming.
Michiko: You were with him before?
Akane: Yea. He was right behind me.
Lee: Is that so? Do you think he's talking to women again? (Laughing)
Akane: Perhaps. Hey, Michiko...
Michiko: ?
Akane: Did you bring your bento box?
Michiko: I didn't bring it. Sorry.
Lee: You were intending on eating her food?
Akane: Of course!

Ryusuke arrives.

Ryusuke: Gooooood afternoon!
Akane: Where were you just now? You're late!
Ryusuke: Now, now. Calm down.

He sits next to Lee.

Lee: Please. Take Akane somewhere.
Akane: Shut up!

While the three students laugh, Ryusuke responds.

Ryusuke: I think she likes you. So I think it's better that you keep her.
Akane: What? I'm not a pet! Don't say such things!
Ryusuke: Ruff ruff!

They laugh but Michiko tries to do her homework once more.
Akane grabs Lee's rice balls.

Lee: H-hey! Give it back!

The rice ball is already in her mouth.

Lee: Youuuuu!
Akane: You're too late. S.O.R.R.Y.

Ryusuke pats Lee on the shoulder.

Ryusuke: Perhaps next time, eh? Akane won.

Michiko suddenly stops doing her homework.

Michiko: That guy...
Akane: Who?
Michiko: Over there.

The male students turn about but because the person is to her right, she does not have to.

Michiko: His name's... Akatsuki.
Akane: What about that guy?
Ryusuke: Did he do something?

There is silence.

Lee: Speak.
Michiko: He's a classmate. He sits in front of me. Today.. that guy spoke to me.
Ryusuke: And?
Michiko: He had said that I did not look well.
Ryusuke: That's the truth, isn't it?
Akane: Ryusuke!
Ryusuke: Ok, ok! I won't talk anymore!
Lee: Michiko, is... that all?
Michiko: I guess. He's a transfer student, he doesn't talk at all, he's always quiet, so he's a little weird. I wonder if he has any friends...
Lee: I see.
Ryusuke: That guy's taking my English literature class. He doesn't do much. He just sits and listens to the teacher.
Akane: Seems like a boring person...
Ryusuke: That guy may have a lot of secrets!
Lee: Don't be stupid! What kinds of secrets?!

They wait as he thinks.

Ryusuke: Murder!
Everyone else: Murder!?
Lee: No way!
Akane: That's scary..
Michiko: I don't think he's a murderer.
Ryusuke: That's fine but when you go back home, don't be scared, 'kay? That guy will be waiting for you inside our house. Plus, he'll be holding a nife. Then I'll call you and say "I told you! I told you!". How's that?

Again there is silence.

Ryusuke: How's that guys?
Michiko: Idiot.
Ryusuke: What?
Akane: You're not listening? She said you're an idiot! By the way, It's time.
Ryusuke: Class? Lunchtime is already over?! Aaahhhh!!! I'm late!
Akane: hahaha! Again huh?

Ryusuke is going back to the school building.

Ryusuke: This isn't fun!!!

Lee and the girls stand up.

Lee: I also have to go.
Michiko: Okay. Since my afternoon classes got cancelled yesterday, I'm going back home.
Lee: Be careful, okay?
Michiko: Okay.
Lee: You too Akane. Be careful.
Akane: What? You're not going back home with me after classes?
Lee: I can't. Sorry. I have a meeting.
Akane: I see. Well...
Lee: See you!

Lee goes to class. Akane becomes serious. She is not looking at Michiko.

Akane: If something happens, you will tell me, okay?
Michiko: Akane?
Akane: Answer me.
Michiko: I will tell you.

Akane becomes happy.

Akane: Alright, see you tomorrow, okay!

She goes into the school building without hearing her reply.

Michiko: See you...

道子さんは友達と高校に向かって歩いています。

リーさん：また夢を見たのか。
道子さん：うん。
リーさん：何を見たんだ？
沈黙があります。
リーさん：道子さん？
道子さん：何も見えなかった…
リーさん：道子さん…
道子さん：何も見えなかった！
道子さんは車を見ます。リーさんは道子さんのことが気になります。彼はため息をつきます。
リーさん：先週の週末はどうだったの？
道子さん：予定がなかった。
リーさん：そうか。
彼らの高校が見えてきました。
リーさん：君が話したければ、俺はここにいるんだよ、いいね？
道子さん：えっと…
リーさんは笑います。
リーさん：あ、いやっ！いいんだよ！道子さんは話したいとき、俺はいるんだね。
道子さんは笑います。
道子さん：うん、分かった。ありがとう。
リーさん：じゃっ！（＾＿＾）
二人は学校に入ったけど、別々のクラスに行きます。

道子さんはクラスにいますが、先生はまだいません。学生は全部います。

道子さんはまどの近くに座っています。男子学生が道子さんの前に座っています。彼は留学生です。お名前は暁（あかつき）です。暁さんは道子さんに話しけましたが、彼女の方を見ていません。

暁さん：元気？
彼は道子さんと一度も話したことがないので、ビックリしました。
道子さん：え？
暁さん：『元気』って言ったんだ。
道子さん：あ、まぁ〜。元気です。
暁さん：元気じゃなさそうよ。

先生が授業に入って来て、教室の前の方に行きます。先生は親切な女の人です。名前はカミャです。

カミャ先生：授業を始めしょう！


（英語で！）

Michiko and her friend are walking to their high school.

Lee: You saw the dream again?
Michiko: Yea.
Lee: What did you see?
Silence.
Lee: Michiko?
Michiko: I couldn't see anything...
Lee: Michiko...
Michiko: I couldn't see anything!

Michiko looks at a car. Lee is worried about Michiko's well being. He sighs.

Lee: How was your weekend?
Michiko: I had no plans.
Lee: I see.

They can see their high school.

Lee: If you have free time after your morning class, would you want to talk to me?
Michiko: Um...
Lee smiles.
Lee: Ah, no! It's cool! When you want to talk, I'm here, ok?
Michiko smiles.
Michiko: sure, I understand. Thank you.
Lee: See you! (^_^)

They both enter into the high school but go to different classes.
Michiko is in the class but the teacher is not there yet. All of the students are there.

Michiko is sitting near the window. A guy is sitting before Michiko. He is a transfer student. His name is Akatsuki. He speaks to Michiko but he does not look at her.

Akatsuki: How are you?
Because he never talks to her, she is surprised.
Michiko: huh?
Akatsuki: I said 'how are you'?
Michiko: Ah, I'm alright I guess. I'm fine.
Akatsuki: You don't look fine.

The teacher enters the class and goes to the front of the class. She is a kind woman. Her name is Kamya.

Kamya Sensei: Lets begin class!

It's been a long time huh! Again!

さいきん、この学期がとても忙しくなってきましたよ。
これからももっと忙しくなって行くだろうと思っています。
作文や宿題やインタービューや中間テストや試験があって…

Anyway, how is everyone doing?
Lately, this semester has been very busy.
I think from now on it's going to be even more busy.
Essays, homework, interviews, midterms, exams...
....it's like punishment! (T_T)

まぁ、しかたがありません。
Well, It can't be helped...

明日、日本語の書く中間テストがあって…インタービューがあって…
Tomorrow I have a Japanese writing midterm... and an interview...

日本語を勉強したら、テストが易しいと思いますけど、インタービューのことが分からないです。私はインタービューしたことがありませんよ。なんか…私はびくびくしているね。
If I study my Japanese then the test will be easy I think. However, I don't know about the interview. I have never done an interview before. I am somehow... nervous.

えっと…とりあえずそれだけですよ。（笑）時間がありません。

It does not wilt, it does not fade. Love never fades.
It instead smoothly glides into a transition known as pure emotion that cannot be defined.

Love can be mistaken for Hate.
Hate can be mistaken for Love.
Both can be mistaken for Ignorance.
But the basics can never be lost in the sea of understanding.

Love is a dance of spontaneity. No one knows the next move. You just move. You just touch. You just smile. You just laugh. You just sleep in the arms of the one you love. You just speak with a mind of dependency.

Love is natural and it is not hard. Humans make it hard and complicated to love another. To most humans, there is only one kind of love. Their insecurities make them emphasize what kind of love they are bestowing on another. They fear to be categorized but they are already categorized to begin with.

Love does not choose a side. It strips away logic and accentuates the beauty of another.

Love has many faces. People have different out-takes of love that they have surmised from past vantage points. But these faces overlap eachother and so thus the definition of Love is a compromise created from the commonness, from the similar stories, people have to tell about Love.

Love is to be shared, is to be undefined and unrefined. Love is as pure as an emotion; it cannot be explained. It is felt and so thus it can be shown in various ways.

Love... is a great phenomenon and possibly apocalyptic to the heart and mind if things go wrong.

I went to the Japanese Film Festival last weekend. It was fun and interesting!

映画鑑賞会は金曜日から日曜日まで…
金曜日、私は『ばとん』と『花とアリス』を見たのよ。
その後、土曜日は『Air Doll』と『あずみ』も。

The Film Festival was from Friday to Sunday...
I saw Baton and Hana and Alice on Friday.
After that I saw Air Doll and Azumi on Saturday as well.

日曜日は映画鑑賞会にエウレカの映画とSad Vacationがあった。だけど私はエウレカだけを見たのよ。

On Monday, Eureka the movie and Sad Vacation played at the film festival. However, I only watched Eureka.

北村 龍平のバトンはちょっと変だけど、私は好きだった。
北村竜平のあずみの映画をもう三回見たのよ。
だから、あずみの映画を見ようとは思っていなかった。でも、もう一回見に行った。（笑）
私はまだ楽しんだなぁー！
でも、たくさんの戦いがあったと思ったね。

Kitamura Ryuhei's movie, Baton, was a little odd, but I liked it.
I have already watched Kitamura Ryuhei's movie Azumi 3 times. So I didn't think I would go to see the movie Azumi. But I went to see it once more. (lol)
I still enjoyed it!
But I thought that there were many fights.

あっ！忘れた！話がある！

Ah! I forgot! I have something to say!

金曜日、私は日本の映画鑑賞会で誰かに会ったんだ。男の人…
彼は可愛くて優しそうな人だったのよ。
私達は日本の映画について話した。
私達の専攻について話した。
生活について話した。
全部！

On Friday I met someone at the Japanese Film Festival. A guy...
He seemed like a cute and nice person.
We talked about Japanese films...
We talked about our majors...
We talked about life...
EVERYTHING!

彼は本当に親切そうねぇー…
次の日にまた彼に会ったんだ。私達はとってもビックリしたよ！
私が映画鑑賞会の部屋を出る時に、彼が入って来た。それから、私は彼を見て彼は私を見た。私は笑ってたんだ。彼も笑ってた。
私は本当に嬉しかったわよ！彼も嬉しそうだったわね！

He really seemed sooo kind...
The next day I met him again. We were so shocked!
When I was leaving the film festival room, he was entering the room.
After that, I looked at him, he looked at me. I was smiling. He was smiling too.
I was really happy! He seemed happy too!

けれども、その後は、彼には会ってないの。（T＿T）
彼の名前はリー。アメリカ人だ。

この投稿はめちゃくちゃなになってるかもね。ごめん。（＞＜）

However, after that, I have not seen him again.T_T
His name is Lee. He is American.

（ところで、この金曜日から日曜日まで韓国語映画鑑賞会です！私は見に行くつもりです！）（＾ー＾）

(By the way, from this Friday to Sunday is the Korean Film Festival! I intend on going! ^_^)

私はたくさんの漢字を習った。

Sorryyyy everyone! I was really busy!
My last mid term exam is on Tuesday. I'm so glad!
Of course though I am still studying Japanese.
But my Japanese Language teacher teaches so quickly. T_T
She also speaks fast too!
Nevertheless, I am studying hard.
I have learned a lot of Kanji.

この大学は本当に違うわよ。
ここではもっと宿題や試験やテストがあるので、帰りに私はすべての宿題のことを考えるの。毎日、自転車でアパートに帰る。私にはそれは新しいことだよ。他の大学で私は全然自転車を使わなかった。それを必要としなかった。でも、USCの方がMSUより大きいので私は自転車で授業に行く。

This university is really different.
There is more homework, exams, and tests here and on the way back home I think about all of that homework. Everyday I ride my bike back to my apartment. For me, this is a new thing. In the other university, I never used a bike. It was not needed. But because USC is bigger than MSU, I go to classes by bike.

そして、今私にはConversationパートナーがいるの。二人いる。
名前はゆき大輔と川村大輔です。
（笑）『大輔』は共通の名前ね？
川村大輔さんは親切な人だけど、まだ私はゆきさんに会ったことが無いの。今から私達はメールを書いて…
明日の午後、ゆきさんにどこかで会う。ゆきさんはもう大学院生でもう結婚している。大輔さんも結婚しているけど、大学院生じゃないの。大輔さんはScholarだよ。

Also, right now I have a conversation partner. There are 2 of them.
Their names are Yuki Daisuke and Kawamura Daisuke.
hahaha, "Daisuke" seems like a common name, huh?
Kawamura Daisuke is a kind person but I have not met Yuki yet. For now we are writing e-mails...
Tomorrow afternoon I will meet Yuki somewhere. Yuki is already a college graduate student and is already married. Daisuke is also married but is not a college graduate student. He is a scholar.

とにかく、私は英語で書くべきなのか？（ため息）
多く書いたぁー！
まっ、仕方が無いわね。…（涙目）…

Anyway, I probably should write in English, huh? *siiighhh*
I wrote a loooot!
Well, it can't be helped huh. ....T_T...

（よし！英語でも書いた！できた！それは難しくなかった。どうして私は不平を言ったのかな？All right! I wrote in english! I'm done! That wasn't hard. I wonder why I complained...）
