Second best no more

I haven't posted anything for quite some time already. Maybe I was waiting for something big to happen to me, or a great idea to pop into my mind. But so far, as of yesterday, I had none.

I've always thought of myself as a mediocre. I always settle for what's convenient and easy. I don't like getting a lot of attention. And if I have a supernatural power, I want to be able to become invisible.

But right now, I feel so ecstatic. I found something that I both enjoy and think I'm good at. I have a class this semester in visual design. Every week we are required to pass design outputs and the class votes for the best design. I put a great effort on each one I pass, but still, I think it wasn't enough as I was always voted second best.

But today, I finally won! I felt good about myself that I accomplished something. Up to this point, I still can't take away the smile on my face. :)

@ lmedtr : Thanks! LOL. I'm just used to using the word "pass". But yeah, it's the same as "hand in".

@ Donquixote1985: It's true! I truly enjoy it a lot. My classmates always tell me about the subject demanding too much time and effort. But for me, every moment is worth it!
