Can't wait!

*Things that I can't wait to do*

1. Go shopping.
Actually I haven't got enough warm clothes to wear and survive this winter, so I've got to find some nice cosy sweaters and jeans as well!

2. Go back to uni and see familiar faces.
There're some people that I'm literally craving to see and talk to! I wish they had such a feeling towards me too ;)

3. Go to the dentist.
This is more like something I MUST do promptly though... I got a cavity in a tooth on the upper left side. It aches terribly whenever I have water intake or chew something cold...
This must be the outcome of not having bothered brushing my teeth regularly, (of course only when I didn't go out, everyone!haha But it still is not a great habit to stick to...I know.) to keep away those evil germs to errode them... Anyways, I'll get it fixed tomorrow!
The screech those teeth-fixing gadgets emit always makes me cringe a bit, though ;(

Thank you for reading this!
Be harsh in correcting my English :D

One question!
I once wrote: "Be harsh on correcting..." and it was corrected as "in correcting..."
Will someone tell me the difference between them?

"On" vs "In":
I like to teach with examples. ^_^

"On" is an an application towards an object, idea or person. Examples:
* He left his homework at home three times this week, so be harsh on him!
* Be harsh on me when you correct my English!
* He is loving on her.

"In" is an application during an action. Examples:
* Because he left his homework at home three times this week, be harsh in reprimanding him!
* Be harsh in correcting my English!
* He is in love with her.

Hmmm. I'm not sure I'd ever say "loving ON somebody," not unless I was deliberately trying to sound strange. I think it's very colloquial, and it might be better to avoid such a usage.

And.... "be harsh on him" sounded strange to me at first. I would say "be harsh WITH him." This might be a regional difference though, because google gave me a comparable number of hits for both expressions.

I do agree with Jala's examples regarding "in," though. ^^

Actually, doing a bit more googling and thinking about it.... I think there's a slight difference between "harsh on" vs. "harsh with." The examples Jala gave are spots where I'd use harsh "with," but... i think tweaking it a bit would make me say "on." "You're being harsh on him."
BUT
"Be harsh with him."

.... I'm sorry to have derailed the topic/question. Um, if you're interested, message me and I'll try to give a clearer explanation.

Hey you ;-)
Just wanted to write a little comment before I head off to bed. Jala and Eike already pointed out most of your errors, kudos to them :)
I wanted to comment on this sentence:

"There're some people that I'm literally craving to see and talk to!"

I noticed you are using the word "literally" for something that cannot even be taken figuratively. Disregarding that though, "literally" is kind of a strange word to emphasize something, don't you think? I found a nice little article about it, you can read it at http://www.visualthesaurus.com/cm/wordroutes/1499/ . It's from someone who used to work on Oxford dictionaries, so you may pick up a new word or two while you read it! :) (I did, "vituperation"! How do they come up with that stuff? :D

Going to the dentist is awful..that's why you should brush your teeth well! I only manage to brush regularly because I'm so afraid of the consequences if I don't! :D I once had two cavities that needed to be drilled and the dentist wouldn't give me anesthetics...she told me that if it hurt too much, I had to raise my hand and she would stop. After I had interrupted the drilling a few times by raising my hand, it didn't work anymore, she just kept going. >_< For a few weeks following the procedure, I brushed my teeth like four times a day because I never ever ever wanted to have cavities ever again :D eventually that conviction faded though, and now I usually brush only once a day..sometimes twice :)
OK, I'm going to engage in said brushing and go to bed. I'm glad you're writing blog entries again, keep it up! Reading them was as much part of my daily routine as writing them must have been to you! ;)
