Can you check my writing?: a folk village of Korea
Hello, I wrote of a traditional folk village where is a famous place of korea. I hope you can enjoy it. : )
Yangdong folk village is one of the traditional villages remained intact. It is located 20 km northeast from Gyungju city and surrounded by beautiful natural environment. The village founded by both of Son and Lee family and inherited for 500 years by the families. You can look around hundreds years old tile roofed houses and straw roofed ones and also walk along soiled paths with feeling of Korean traditional village’s atmosphere.
There are interesting features of it. First of all, Residents are living in old old houses. For example, when I visited Jeonju Hanok village in Jeonbuk province, old houses were empty because people worry Hanok spoiled by residents. Actually, it was not really village but an exhibition place. As concerned as this point, the village is an exciting place.
Also, Yangdon is a historic noble village. Above the picture leads me to Yangdong because I was impressed we can catch a glimpse of the traces of class society back in the day by the picture.
Yangban used to live in on the head of slope and Nobi which indicate servants live underneath of them. The structure of village was affected by society system.
If foreigners ask me of not to missed traditional places, I will strongly recommend he/she Yangdong village. It is the perfect place to experience of traditional village indirectly.
