Since I am preparing for my GRE test, I'm coming back. (such a utilitarian
I am...)
However I sincerely hope that you can help me with my article, my grammar, my usage of words. All critics and suggestions are welcome^

The subject today is "Important truths begin as outrageous, or at least uncomfortable, attacks upon the accepted wisdom of the time.". It is required to be an analytical issue."

---------------------------------------------------------------------
As the technology and society improve, many truths or laws in which we used to believe firmly have changed. However, are these innovating and new concepts necessarily outrageous, uncomfortable or difficult to accept? It might apply for the past, whatever, along with the faster and more intensive changes in every field of our life, people seem to get much easier and pleased to accept anything that different from the old.
In the past, it is terribly hard for people to identify with or accept those new ideas or truths that challenge their inherent cognitions, especially in some fields like mathematics, astronomy and physics. Part of the reason attributes to the strict and relative enclosed social system, in which people are convinced of certain organizations and the ideology came along. In such an environment, people choose to refuse or more probably not used to think by themselves. Most of the time, they prefer to follow the rules that predominated by a higher or governing class. The samples of being hostile to important truths were very common and found everywhere. Back to many years ago, when Giordano Bruno brought up with his idea that the earth is not the center of the universe, what he confronted at that time were furious critics and even ruthless trial and execution conducted by the Catholic Church.
However, the situation has changed a lot nowadays. With the booming developments in all fields, including both the traditional ones and emerging ones, people are becoming more and more willing to accept anything that might be different from the old. Sometimes these new and important truths and ideas can even be potentially or completely subversive. The source of this kind of change may be a series of turbulent social developments over the last centuries. Contemporaries are quite independent and skeptical thinking compared to their ancients. It seems that the truths do not have unified standard for most of the time now, and it depends heavily on the assumptions and basis. For instance, in some traditional subjects, like mathematics, one plus one is no longer always two. The methodology and definition are changing and becoming broader all the time, and several paralleled systems can be existed mutually, in each, a truth stands.
What is more in the future, the trend can be almost certain is that the degree of acceptance of new and important truths will be higher and higher. People will be able to view and consider everything from a more multidimensional and multi-angle.

Some sentences were a bit hard to correct so I had to rephrase them...Make sure to use the correct tense.
