Trains often stop in Japan because of some accidents.
A train I took today was stopped because someone were one the rail way, I don't know why they do that, I often hear a conductor say the reason of train's stop is because someone is on the rail way.
Do you have this kind of things in your country?

AThe train I took today was stopped because someone were was one on the rail way, I don't know why they do that, I often hear a conductor say the reason of train's stop is because someone is on the rail way. (Use "the" because you rode one particular train and not referring to other type of trains. Use "was" because "someone" is singlular)
Do you have this these kind of things in your country? (or "....this kind of thing.....")
I don't think I've encountered an instance where in the train would stop because there was someone on the tracks. Most of the reason was due to technical difficulties on the train itself or there is still a train in the station where my train is headed. ^^
It's a drag for commuters like me....>_<

I've been The Philippines but haven't take a train yet !
