well hannah if joigus reads this... he will probably agree with me about your design. maybe you should've considered using the other 2 live savers to decrease the friction created by the straw (popote) that is on the floor. But i guess it turned out alright :o
Didn't the men in your class turn out to be sort of unmanly because of the use of straws?
I feel totally dominated! Only thing missing is a Buckeyes' logo XD
@Mr. G.:
Man, I'd take your lead on engineering matters. Also I think Rsalc is an engineer, but at 1st sight you seem to be right. A lot of work on hydrodynamics seems to be wanting.
:)
rsalc1
Mr. G
We had another set of wheels, but not enough tape or time to attach it :( And one is only unmanly if they're using the straw to drink, not if they're using them for car/boat things, lol.
joigus
Haha, if we'd have drawn a little Brutus on there, we would've gotten the longest distance for sure. Thanks for correcting.
@Joigus: you found many good "addable" things to add. Duly noted.
Yes, I'm an engineer, I agree that reducing friction is good design, but I hesitate to design this "breathmobile" because it uses "unmanly" pajitas :-)
@:rsalc1 I think we could use industrial grade aluminum or maybe plastic, some normal car wheels and include some bearings to reduce energy loss. Maybe some studies on hannah's lung capacity and the dynamic qualities of the air she expells and then put some pipes and increase the velocity with some nozzles and then desing the sails for her breath mobile :P
or maybe the engineer in me just went to far :P
