The other day, I went to Koboji(Kobo Temple) at Mt. Noro (Noro-san in Japanese) with my family.
(先日、家族と野呂山の弘法時に行ってきました)

It was not so cold, but the waterfall was frozen.
(それほど寒くなかったのですが、滝が凍っていました)

My son was glad to stand on the ice.
(息子は氷の上に立って喜んでいました)

But I did't stand on it because I'm timid.
(私は怖がりなので氷の上に立ちませんでしたが)
These days my son is crazy for cutting paper. (Refer to the above picture.)
I fold a paper and draw lines, then he cuts the paper along the lines.

I have a question.
How do you say "切り紙をして遊ぶ" in English ?
He enjoys cutting paper??
Does this make sense?

The superintendent of my apartment likes flowers, and sometimes he brings some flowers to show to the residents.
Last Saturday he brought some queen of the night (Japanese name is "月下美人"), and opened beautifully at the night.
This flower is very wonderful. It opens only one night!

Last Saturday, I went to the Hiroshima sports Center to watch the show "Disney on Ice" with my son and my wife's father.
My son likes Disney, so I thought he would be happy. But he was so cowardly that he was scared when it got dark in the hall. And he was too young to understand the story of the show.
But anyway he seemed to like the toy that his grandpa bought.

michita : Children's ability (0)

Children have high ability to hear and speak words.
My son sometimes watch English DVD or TV.
And he learned some English words.
Generally the Japanese are not good at pronunciation of R and L, because Japanese language don't have words including the pronunciation. Of course I can't pronounce the difference between R and L well. But my son can pronounce words including R or L fluently. For example, "car" or "yellow" etc..
I envy him.

I have a question.
In this case, can I use the expression "I envy him."?

I went to the Bihoku Hillside Park with my family. It is located at the north-east side of Hiroshima City, and it takes about one hour and a half by car.

In his season there are many beautiful cosmoses in the park.
My son wanted to ride on a horse, so I let him ride on it.
First he was scared, but soon he came to like riding and looked happy.
But his favorite was a slide. He played on the slide again and again.

It was very good weather, so we got suntanned.

I have been reading this book to increase my vocabulary.

「英単語ピーナツほどおいしいものはない 銅メダルコース」

It does not list one word by word, but it lists collocations.
I think it's much easier to memorize English words.

But originally I have a bad memory, so it's very tough for me.
