お医者さんは（ご飯をたべている）人間であって神様ではない、
ってことだと思います。
著者の皮肉が入っていますけどね、
著者も医師なので、医療業界への現状への嘆きが入っているのです。

補足すると、お医者さんも、大変なんですね。

なぜかというと
患者にいい治療をしようと思うと、立派な機械・設備が必要になりますね。
人民元で数百万元、日本円で数千万もするけど、
とても優れた良い機械もあります。

多くのお医者さんは大金持ちというわけではないですから、
お金を借ります。
返すためには、お金を稼がなくてはならないのです。

お金を返せないと、病院がつぶれてしまう。お医者さんの家族も路頭に迷う。。

中国のほうはやっぱり国有の病院が多いです。複雑な話ですが、中国現在の患者と医者の関係はとてもきついです。患者は医者を信頼しない、治らなかったら医者と喧嘩したり、医者を殴るニュースは良く新聞に出ます。まあう、とりあえず、毎日運動して、自分で健康を守るのは何より大切だと思います。

おお、医者を殴るとは穏やかではないですね。。お医者は尊敬される職業というイメージでしたが。
やはり、何よりも自分で健康を守ることが大切ですね。
