Colón
Hi!
This is my first diary, Am I going to talk about myself? No way, my life isn't interesting, is too boring xD. Moreover, I have to study History and English, so let's practice both of them!. I'm going to write about one of my last History class.
We are talking about America discovering, our teacher said that Colón was a bungler. He wouldn't have discovered America if he hadn't made four mistakes. And when he had arrived there he thought that it was China, and he died thinking that! Well, for him it was better to said that it was China because his contract was about going from Spain to China, not discovering new places xD. He was hired by the Kings of Spain, no one wanted to finance his project of going to China crossing the Atlantic. Even it was rejected by the Kings of Spain, but he tried again when they had already conquered Granada and they were excited.
But, if people thought that earth was plane, Why he wanted to crossed the Atlantic? Right, The West had too many spices and unique materials that were not on other places, and there were to many exchanges to bring them here. So Colón's idea was making another trade route safer and less expensive for this unique materials.
Then, Spain was the best empire in the world at that time. Why isn't now if Spain being riched with American Silver? That's because we are lammers xD. Just kidding, maybe I'll explain in the next entry ;)
Thank's for reading :D

I'm going to write about one of my last History classes.
We were talking about the discovery of America, and our teacher told us that Colón was a bungler.
Well, for him it was better to have to said that it was China, because his contract was about going from Spain to China, not discovering new places xD.
He tried to get hired by the Kings of Spain, but no one wanted to finance his project of going to China by crossing the Atlantic.
Even though his plan was rejected by the Kings of Spain, but he tried again when they had already conquered Granada and they accepted.
But, if people thought that earth was flat, why was it that he wanted to crossed the Atlantic?
Right, The West had too many spices and unique materials that were not in other places, and the distant and complicated exchange routes made them difficult to bring back.
So Colón's idea was making another trade route safer and less expensive for this unique materials.
Then, Spain was the best empire in the world at that time.
?? Why isn't Spain still on top after plundering all of America's silver ??
what's a lammer?
No way, my life isn't interesting, it is too boring xD.
Moreover, I have to study History and English, so let's practice both of them!

It was even rejected by the Kings of Spain, but he tried again when they had already conquered Granada and they were excited.
But, if people thought that (the) earth was plane, Why did he wanted to crossed the Atlantic?
Right, The West had too many spices and unique materials that were not (found) in other places, and there were to many exchanges to bring them here.
So Colón's idea was making another trade route safer and less expensive for these unique materials.
Then, Spain was the best empire in the world at that time. (or Then, Spain was the best empire in the world at that time).
Why isn't it now, if Spain is being enriched with American silver?
Thanks for reading :D
Well, Colón was hired by The Kings of Spain, but in the second time he proposed the project, when Kings of Spain were glad/excited for conquering Granada (a place in Spain).
a lammer is such as an incompetent xD
No way, my life isn't (that) interesting, it's too boring xD.
We are talking about the discovery of America, and our teacher said that Columbus was a bungler. ("Bungler" is correct, but it sounds old and I've never heard anyone say it. Actually, the best alternative I can think of is "fuckup" lol.)
And when he had arrived there he thought that it was China, and he died thinking that! (If I'm not wrong, I think he thought he had discovered India. Hence why the natives are called Indians, the Caribbean islands were called the West Indies, etc,.)
He was hired by the King and Queen of Spain, since no one (else) wanted to finance his project of going to China by crossing the Atlantic.
It was rejected by the King and Queen of Spain, but he tried again when they had already conquered Granada and were excited. (If you want to keep it as one word, you could say "Monarchs".)
But if people thought that earth was flat, why would he want to cross the Atlantic? (I think he believed that the world was round, just much smaller than we know now.)
The East had many spices and (other) unique materials that were not in other places, and there were many different exchanges to bring them here. (I believe you mean "East" here since you're referring to India, China, etc,.)
So Columbus' idea was to discover another trade route that would be safer and less expensive for the trade of these unique materials.
Why aren't we rich now if Spain got so rich from American Silver?
That's because we are lame xD (I think this is what you mean here...)
My book said that he thought he had discovered China, but you are right too, and in some places you can read his proyect was about going to Cipango (Japan).
Yes, he believed that the world was round and smaller.
Thanks for the corrections and the comments :D
I'm not sure, but he arrived there in 1492.And Cabral(?) arrived at Brazil by mystake.I think that's why they don't speak Spanish in Brazil.
@Aniel thanks, I hope you can fix your computer :D
