Is Lang-8 controllable? Yes, perhaps it is.
I found one of my American friends disappeared suddenly and another Japanese friend wrote that he was blocked by Lang-8 suddenly. I know he won't give up studying Japanese, so I'm not worried about him. I was just surprised to know that Lang-8 could be controlled by someone. You know someone is staff. For another example, premium members' fun entries, especially which might raise some discussions, are put on the top of the lines for a long time. It's apparently controllable.
I just wanted to refer to the technology. I feel that it's certainly developing. 目に見えるくらいの感覚で発達している。When I was really young, it was hard to study English. So now I feel happy to use these technologies, such as Skype, internet, Podcasts, YouTube, and whatnot. Some native English speakers live here in Japan. (Actually I don't have any native friends. T.T) Now that the technology has really been developed, it's all up to me whether I try harder or not. This is one of my mottos.^^ Another motto is "Why do today what I could put off till tomorrow." ^^;
Today I found a super amazing website for improving my English skills. I'll try it, and if I think it's good, I'll tell you. We'll see what I get! 待っててね。

I have also heard the response to this. "What is today but yesterdays tomorrow?"^^
So if you put everything off until tomorrow. then today, you have to do what you put off yesterday.^^
Anyway, this site has helped me tremendously. I hope me or any of my friends don't get suddenly blocked.
