My second daughter is a second-year junior high student. She has to memorize and recite a short English story for a class quiz. She chose the following piece. It's very easy as she is still a beginner. And it looks like a good exercise for pronunciation, because it has a lot of "l" and "r" sounds. Would anyone give a voice example for her recitation? Please speak very very slowly. Of course, I'm going to recite it, too, without saying it to her, because she doesn't like to study with me and she can memorize anything easily, but I can't. ^^

There is a boy, and he likes to sing.
He can sing almost anything.
He knows all the popular songs.
And he can sing them very long.

I can sing more than Jenny.
Jenny can sing more than Benny.
Benny can't sing, but he can hum.
Jenny can't hum, but she can drum.

There are a lot of melodies.
There are a lot of symphonies.
I like to dance and I like to sing.
Music is my favorite thing.

Some people like rock and roll.
Some like gospel, some like soul.
Some like classical music, too.
I like them all. How about you?
