As you already know, I'm going to spend some time in Barcelona soon and to study Spanish.
Air tickets from Barcelona to other places in Europe are much cheaper than tickets from Russia. For example, a round trip from Saint-Petersburg to Paris or London or Berlin will cost over $500, but this trip from Barcelona will cost over 5 times less! Visiting England always was my big dream. So I think it is a good idea to travel around Europe when I'll be in Spain and when I'll have a free time.
For me it's very difficult to get a UK visa, because the visa officer thinks this way: this person doesn't have a husband or a children, she also doesn't have any property (I really haven't) or anything at all which can guarantee her return to Russia.
Of course I've read a lot of terrible stories about UK visa's refusals on the Internet, but nevertheless I thought at least I should try.
Than I picked up all the necessary documents and translated them in English. Over 5 days later - BINGOOOO!!!- I received an e-mail - "Your visa is ready"!
Maybe Englishmen at last realize that Russians haven't quite got economic motivation to emigrate to England?
Also it is excellent for my visa's history and someday I might get a visa to USA or maybe even to Japan - a trip to Tokyo would be a MIRACLE!)
Now I'm so happy and I'm going to spend the days 21.01-24.01 in London! I can't wait!
