発表の時よく緊張します
I feel nervous on presentation.
but the proffesor said that
緊張の中の 状態が 本当の実力である
Ones condition in under tension is real ones ability.
緊張の中で ミスをしたら それはその能力を定着していないことである
another words; if you missed some actives under tension, you do not get that ability.
緊張しないようにするよりは 技術を向上したい
I want to improve skills rather than do not feel nervous.

Nervous
I feel nervous on about my presentation.
but the professor said that
one's condition in when under tension/stress is one's real ability.
In other words, if you missed some activities that put you under tension, you do not get that ability. [OR ~if you missed some activities that test your mental strength~]
I want to improve my skills rather than do not feel nervous.

By the way, the Man Ray museum exhibition is on now at THE NATIONAL ART CENTER in TOKYO! ["is on" is a phrase to say it is happening now. Eg. The game is on now.]
