As getting cold, somehow I want sweets. (not that I refer to sweetheart.)

I’m warning you, I’m a drinker who dislikes any sweets during summertime. (^^) Whenever I glance at a man jamming a cake or a doughnut in his mouth, it makes me jeer at him like “you spineless fruitcake!” or something. (You could call me the second coming of Humphrey Bogart.)

But, in recent days…. OK, I own up. I’m addicted to chocolates. (^^) In all places and times, I thirst for this narcotic. Yesterday, I finally raise my hand before anyone else when a female colleague bought some chocolates and asked everyone to want or not. (In my firm, though I try to pretend to be a cool guy...)

That reminds me…. In Europe where has their own intense cold winter, there are lots of sweets, aren’t there? (France, Austria, and Northern Italy…) Someone who lives in somewhere colder, can you agree with me? In winter, would you turn into even more keen on sweets than summertime?

Well,it's time to practice a quick shot. Later. (^^)

lolx In cold times, I crave things like hot chocolate, tomato soup, and mexican or chinese food. I don't know why XD but, I don't remember craving sweets very much, unless it's like a sweet bread (like pumpkin or spice bread).

Maybe people like comfort foods in winter and perhaps there is a biological want to get big and fat like bears to pass the winter.

I will drink hot chocolate when it's 90 degrees outside. I love sweet things, any time, any place. I loved going to Mr. Doughnuts in Japan, eating 2 or so doughnuts, drinking free refill coffee, and working on my homework. ^_^
I would eat sakuramochi everyday if I could.
Fruitcake, no matter its name, is not sweet. It's yucky.
The U.S. has its own cold winters and it was a tradition in my family to drink hot cocoa every evening after coming inside from a hard day of playing in the snow. ^_^
Chocolate is also a mood-upper. So, combine drinking something hot (when it's really cold outside) and filled with chocolate, and you get happiness in winter. =D

Thanks for reading my entry, everyone~

Sorry too late to reply. I was busy on practicing a quick shot and fight a dual. (^^) Well, I suppose, in some countries with warmer climate, let’s say Mexico, Thai, India, or Arabia somewhere, these countries are considered as the epicurean country, though, there are bare variations of sweets, right? (Almost of them are mere fruits or something.) So, I believe in colder climate, people tend to turn into even more keen on sweets than in warmer climate. Whelp, cocoa with ram is appropriate in winter, right?

@Bsan
Thanks for correcting! I don’t know why though, as long as I glance, people (especially girls) tend to be fond of sweets more and more as getting colder. Even if in the middle of harsh midsummer, I don’t starve for ice cream in summer days. But… Even Humphrey Bogart cannot survive in wintertime without sweets. (^^)

@Anna
Thanks for correcting! I bet you look upon me as an enemy though, I’m kind of person who can keep slim no matter how much I eat. So I don’t care!

@stephythepurplepanda
Thanks for comment. Ummm? Tomato soup, Mexican and Chinese food are not so sweet that much, right? (^^) Well, I like hot food either.

@englishpet
Thanks for correcting! Hahahaha, you’re right. As you mentioned, animals and races of human being living in somewhere with colder climate tend to be so big and built, right? I suppose, if not, they won’t survive.

@Tullous
Thanks for correcting! 90 degree? You mean 90 degrees Fahrenheit? So, it’s equal to 33 degree Celsius. It’s hot, indeed! Yet, you love drinking hot chocolate? I’d like to drink beer instead of such a syrupy thing. (^^)
