Ciaooo :D Kairi here. A bit about me:
-Im Italian. I was born there and often visit my dad and the rest of teh family.
-I moved to englnad as a child as my parents seperated and have been living here ever since.
-Therefore I know english perfectly, and Italian pretty well ( my grammer may lack a little as I was never actually schooled there)
-I've also studied French at school ( for around... 4 years ) but im not exactly fluent but thought it was worth mentioning.
-I'm interested in learning Japanese for several reasons:
-Having grown up in italy with anime and manga Japan is something that has interested me from an early age. ( I AM NOT WAPANESE ¬¬ dude i hate that term)
-Steming from this exposure I also grew interested in japanese culture, Art, Tatto art, history, mythology, and general way of life. Anime is really only a small part ^^;
- And the most pressing point I suppose Is that for my 18th birthday my older brother has promised that we would go visit japan together. I realize that its probably ( most definately) impossible to learn the entire japanese language in a mere two years and counting. But i would like to not go there as a total tourist and at least have a basic understanding of perhaps simplistic sentences.
- But it doesnt stop there ! I dont just want to learn the few sentces holiday makers need to travel round, or else i would have picked up a phrase book and memorized it. I'd liek to actually learn the language properly, Id ratherlearn the difficult grammer first and not be able to speak a full sentence than memroize random words and not understand how the language works.
All in all that pretty much sums up my reason for being here.
Oh and shout out and kudos for Tofugu for hes amazing vids and blogs without wich I wouldn't have found this site :D
