I have been learning Japanese for a while. I finished hiragana and katagana already. Now I can read some of them but I can't translate. I don't know where is one word. I wonder how I can separate a words in Japanese language. Japanese is different from English. English have space to let me know which one is one word. But I don't see in Japanese. If you know the secret. Please let me know. Thank you for advance.

Hello, Noy~

When you get used to sentence structures in Japanese, and when you acquire some decent vocabulary, it won't be a problem reading Japanese sentences.

When you learn kanji, it will further help you with reading and understanding. When there are kanji in sentences, you can distinguish individual words much easier than in sentences written only in hiragana.

Good luck! If you have more questions, please feel free to ask.

The particles (ex. は に が と です) helps me tell sometimes because i can tell its a new subject but i have the same problem as you.

I think maybe if we learn vocabulary enough like Kame said we can solve the problem. In Thai language we have no space too. All sentence include together. Need to learn more vocabulary.

You'll get used to it with time.

kanji and particles works best for me.
e.g.
