Hello. I would love it if someone would translate the following sentences and answer the questions for me.

Translate:
1. Maybe someday we might see each other again. (私たちはいつかまた会えるのかもしれない。 <- Is that correct?)

2. My reason for that might have changed overtime.

3. If I were you, I wouldn't do it. (私なら、____?)

Questions:
1. What's "would" and "would not" in Japanese?

2. If a verb is in the past tense -tai (to want to do something) negative form, how would you say it formally?
Take for example, the verb 止める:
止めたい → 止めたくない → 止めたくなかった → 止めたくなかったです → 止めたくなかったでした??
or is it just 止めたくなかったです?

This is it for now! Thanks :)

  • (私なら、____?)
  • (私なら、しないだろう)

Sorry,I am poor at English, I can't imagine the situation "My reason for that might have changed overtime"."Would" is 「~だろう」 and "would not" is 「~ないだろう」 in Japanese.止めたい means " want to stop it", 止めたくない means "don't want to stop it".And 止めたくない is in the present tense, not related to formality. So,the answer is just 止めたくなかった→ 止めたくなかったです.
