金曜日の午後、僕は義理弟と一緒に運動する予定があったが僕は所に着いた時、彼はまだ自宅にいた。
Friday afternoon I made arrangements to work out with my brother but when I got there he was still at home.
それで彼にもう一回電話して彼は「自宅に来ないか」と言うって「じゃあもうすぐ仕事があるけど。。いくよ。」と答えた。
So then I call him one more time and he says "Why don't you come to my house"
公共交通機関で一時間掛かったが彼の家に行った。
It took about an hour by public transportation but I went to his house.
家に着いた時に誰もいなかった。それで僕の携帯乾電池が不十分でした。
When I arrived at his house no one was there. Further, My cell phone battery was dying.
僕はもうぅぅ一回電話して彼が「どこにいるのか」と言うって「自宅にいるんだー」
So I call him yet again and tell him i'm at the house.
一日中彼に会ってみたかったんですけどぜんぜん会わなかった。まじうざいでしょう？

一日中彼に会ってみたかっ会おうと頑張ったんですけどぜんぜんとうとう会わえなかった。

十分、日本語の意味は通じるいい文章だと思います。
さらに俺の携帯の充電は切れかけてた。(Although "充電が切れる" is little strange japanese,usually we use it. )
"まじうざいでしょう?" is a seldom-used among men.（informal < go way formal)まじうざくね？→まじうざくない？→本当めんどさいでしょう？
Usually 俺 is better. except in case of formal.
僕 is mainly used by boys until elementry school in either formal or informal. (sometimes male children use 俺)
Sometimes also used by some male adult persons such as childish person,sometimes formal. In case of you use 僕 against friend, It gives an pretentious impression such as mother's boy,childish person,not strong...etc
For example,
If you are my boyfriend and use 僕 when we talk together,I hate...
I don't like.feel timid-looking
俺 is natural.(but Don't use it against girlfriend's father.)
The most common one is 私 is used in formal.

俺ってよく使うが聴きたくない女がいるんでしょうか？ちょっと変な話けどある女と話す時に彼女が「男性は「俺」と言ったら支配されるの感じを持っている」って。こんな女に関してどう思いますか？女性に「俺」と言うと失礼な事だと思っていたんだ俺。。まぁ間違っています。おもろいな
but I don't feel rude or 支配 about my friends using of 俺.
as well against your friends.
Maybe You better don't use against lady who you meet at first time ,or not friend ,elders and superiors.
Friends and same position only is OK.
But I don't feel 支配 it at all even if friend use it .
I think maybe this lady is have much pride?
More more important,
I feel rude(失礼）is the man call women "お前" than that.(formal and informal)
even if my boyfriend use it. I can fell 支配. I hate.
(Sometimes,some women want to be dominated by men is glad...It little masochistic. ）

Maybe,usually using "私" or "僕" is OK at Lang-8 for you.
but,Using "俺" is no problem when you explain what you said to someone ,
and when you write joke or funny diary. I think.
It will be able to convey your emotion.
