She can read the connotations from Japanese learners' sentences and correct them very nicely. Also, her advices are very easy to understand as well as very useful and helpful. In addition to that, she is very very kind. Her comments are thoughtful, so they will make our heart feel happy and make you motivated. とにかく、素晴らしいです！！！ ＊＾０＾＊
Roomyさんはどこにいってしまったのかな。彼女はLang-8で一年半活動していましたが、六月六日前後、急に現れなくなりました。その前は、毎日添削をたくさんしていました。日記を書いたときはいつも、僕はRoomyさんがそれを読んで添削をしてくださるのを楽しみにしていました。彼女が行方不明になったのは不思議です。もちろん、単にLang-8に飽きたという可能性もありますが、そういうことではないと思います。なぜならば、RoomyさんはLang-8にすごく入れ込んでいたようですね。Roomyさんの他のフレンド達は、彼女が大丈夫かどうかご存知ですか？
Where has Roomy gone? She was active on Lang-8 for a year and a half, but she seems to have suddenly quit around June 6th. Before that, she wrote many corrections every day. Whenever I wrote an entry, I looked forward to her reading it and making corrections. Her disappearance from Lang-8 seems strange to me. Of course, there is always the possibility that she just got tired of Lang-8, but that doesn't seem very likely, because she always seemed to have a super-strong commitment to Lang-8. Do any of her other friends know whether or not she is OK?
To my friend: Rumi. For those who do not know me, and for those who have stumbled upon Rumi’s profile please let me introduce someone very special. I have been using Lang-8 for a good number of years. Since joining this site I have met a lot of people who have studied English. Some better than others, Rumi falls into the better category. In fact, I feel it is safe to say that she is at the top of my list for those who study English. Rumi’s insight into Japanese and English Linguistics far surpasses my own knowledge (of English linguistics) and often makes me reach for a dictionary.
Though her entries may not be as numerous as other people who study English, make no mistake that Rumi’s content makes up for that. If you are seeking to learn Japanese and are confused about the various nuances of Japanese, then Rumi is your girl…woman. I have learned much from her, and I know that if one studies hard and uses her entries to help your own studies then understanding Japanese will be much easier and a whole lot stressful.
Best of luck to my friend for the present and for all of the hopes and dreams that have yet to come true, and I know anyone who stands by Rumi will surely be the better for it.

Please let me switch to English, since my Japanese is very bad at the moment and I probably made many mistakes in the paragraph above.
Roomy is like a good spirit for all us fellow Japanese students at lang-8. She's always there to make wonderful corrections, writes outstanding articles about the quirks of Japanese language (and about other interesting topics, too!) in excellent English, and is a very pleasing partner in discussions about languages. I haven't yet talked with her about other topics, but I hope to ;) and I'm pretty sure such conversation about just anything with her is a very pleasing experience :)

Roomy is a very kind woman, she's always correcting my poor Japanese and she writes funny little comments to me. I really appreciate her effort towards helping me learn Japanese. Thank you so much Roomy!
Roomy is amazing! She's also really kind and is always very helpful!! When she does corrections she does a really good job, and she explains them really well too. I also feel comfortable about asking her any questions I am curious about, and she writes wonderful entries in her excellent English! On top of all that... She is really pretty too, isn't she?

さっとその添削の内容を点検してみれば、概ねその特徴が分かります。たくさんの修正、大急ぎで入れられたコメント、省かれた添削の説明。もちろん、そんな添削もありがたいもので、文句のつけようもありません。でも、ふと深い理由、開かれた討論、添削の背景を知りたいと思うと、ちょっと物足りなく感じます。「ま、数をこなすとこうなるよな。やはり数ではなくて質を問いたい。少ない添削であっても詳しい説明が妥当か」と私なんかは思ってしまいます。全ての傾向に例外あり。それがRoomyさんです。たくさんの星マークに彩られた添削の数々、コメントの優しさ、深さ、そして、ご自身のエントリーの興味深さ、そこに世界中から寄せられたコメントと厳しくも細やかな添削。まずそういった事実に驚き、そしてプロフィールを覗いてその年齢とノスタルジアを感じさせる写真に二度びっくり。ふと興を覚えてコメントを入れてみれば、丁寧な回答が返ってきます。ふーむ。こんな対応をみんな一人一人にしているのか。驚きは深みをますばかり。Roomyさんへの印象に対しての一連のプロセスはきっと私だけのものではないでしょう。そして、行き着く結論はこれです。「どうか、お身体を、大切に。」Roomyさんのような量と質を兼ね備えた添削は私にはできませんが、影ながら応援してますね。ありったけのloads of e-hugをあなたに。

Roomy is not only kind but also pretty. She gave much assistance, advice and many comments to her friends. I think I can write more journals and became better at Japanese as long as there are friends like Roomy.
