Extracurricular activities
I believe that extracurricular activities are very meaningful because of the following reasons.
First of all, joining extracurricular activities makes our horizons broaden. In other words, it gives us a lot of stimulation because there are plenty of people who have different prospect regardless of the same interest. For example, I am involved in English conversation club. Each member has a different viewpoint. One is to know much about the cultural differences. The other is to learn some useful phrases to travel abroad without difficulty. In my case, I'd like to improve my English in order to get to make English lessons with ALTs smoothly. However, we gather with the same objective: to communicate with each other in English. This clealy teach me that extracurricular activities lead to an opportunity to improve our skills in a broad viewpoint with company with the same goal.
My second point is that, in the extracurricular activities, we keep ourselves motivated more easily. To put it another way, we can have less trouble attaining our goals. For instance, my daughter is a member of a cheerleading team. She currently enjoys doing that. However, there was time when she was in trouble because she had difficulties improving her skills. At that time, her company kept cheering her up and helped with her practice. Thanks to them, she didn't give up and now is still a member of it. This typically shows that it's very important to have company with the same interest in order to keep having motivation.
In conclusion, I believe that extracurricular activities are bitterly beneficial to our lives. Last but not least, the friends you made in the extracurricular activities are likely to keep in touch with each other for good because you aimed to the same dream with them.
