Two thousands yen bill

Today,when I went to the cash dispenser near my house and I was paid the cash by my bank account, I got a two thousands yen bill(二千円札) in the bills.
今日、近所のキャッシュディスペンサーで貯金をおろしたら、お札の中に二千円札が混じっていました。
It's a very long time since I have ever seen the two thousands yen bill.
二千円札を見るのはとても久しぶりです。
The two thousand yen bills are first time issued on Japan about 10 years ago.
二千円札は、今から１０年程前にはじめて発行された日本のお札です。
Till that time the types of the bills on Japan are three kinds:a thousand yen bill(千円札), five thousands yen bill(五千円札), ten thousands yen bill(一万円札).
それまでは、日本のお札は千円札、五千円札、一万円札の3種類でした。
But soon after the issue, the estimation that the two thousands yen bills are not useful was occured.
でも二千円札は発行されてすぐに「扱いにくい」という評判が立ちました。
I guess it may be the reason, there are very few times when I see the two thousand bill yen in Japan.
そのせいか、現在二千円札は日本国内でほとんど見かけません。
I made up my mind that I began to the collection of two thousand yen bills.
私はふと、二千円札のコレクションをはじめようかと思いました。
It may be scarcity value.
将来希少価値が出るかもしれません。
Anyway, does the same case that the new bills are not spread because of no popularity of the bill occur except on Japan?
ところで、新しいお札が不人気で巷に出回らないことは、日本以外の国にもあるのでしょうか？

Two thousands yen bill

The two thousand yen bills are were first time issued for the first time on in Japan about 10 years ago.
Till From that time, there were three the types of the bills on in Japan are three kinds:a thousand yen bill(千円札), five thousands yen bill(五千円札), and a ten thousands yen bill(一万円札).
But soon after the issue its issuance, the it was said estimation that the two thousands yen bills are not as useful as it was initially thought was occured.
I guess it may might be the reason why there are very few times a few chances when I see the two thousand bill yen bill in Japan. (Its already understood that yen is issued in Japan.)
I made up my mind that I will begin to the collection of two thousand yen bills.
It may be scarcity might be of great value due to scarcity.
Anyway, does the same case follow that the where new bills are not widely spread because of no popularity of the bill is no longer popular occur except on in Japan?

I didn't know the phrases "two thousand yen bill" and "received in cash through my bank account" (Oh,it's shame!) and I remembered it.
Anyway,I think two thousand yen bills are "commemorative yen banknotes",too,haha!

We usually called the cash dispenser as "ATM" in Japan, and I didn't know the same in America(I thought it was a kind of Japanese-English (^_^;)). It's good study for me.
And thank you for the information of a two dollar bill and a half dollar coin.
I guess it seems a similar case as a two thousand yen bill in Japan.

I'm surprised that there are many kinks of coins in America.
But I guess people become to no use useless coins and bills, same as a two thousand yen bill in Japan.
