Situation in a Supermarket

日本に大地震が起きてから24時間以上が経過しました。
In Tokyo, the city is gradually getting their composure.
東京では、街は徐々に平静を取り戻しつつあります。
However, we still can't relax because there are some concerns, for example, the news said that there might be a explosion on nuclear power station in Fukushima prefecture.
しかし、ニュースによると福島県の原子力発電所が爆発したかもしれないなど、不安材料があり、まだ安心はできません。
Anyway, I went to a large supermarket near my house a few hours ago.
ところで、私は数時間前に家の近くのスーパーマーケットに行きました。
There was a notice on the front door of the store that some products might be out of stock (See the first picture above).
店の前のドアには、一部の商品が品切れになっているかもしれないという張り紙がありました(第1の写真参照)。
I enter the store, some products were still on sell, but the other products (especially, foods) were already run out (See the second picture above).
店の中に入ると、売っている商品もありましたが、品切れの商品(特に食料)もありました(第2の写真参照)。
However, many stores are still open fortunately and it doesn't mean that there are no products in stores.
しかし、幸い多くの商店は依然開店しており、商店に商品が全くないわけではありません。
Furthermore, there are no panic condition and no riot in my city and probably everywhere in Japan.
それに、私の街でも、それに恐らく日本全国でも、パニックも暴動も全く起きていません。
I think we, the Japanese, are still dealing with our situation calmly now.
私は、我々日本人は、現在この状況に依然冷静に対応していると思います。

Over 24 hours have passed since the big earthquake occurred in Japan.
However, we still can't relax because there are some concerns, for example, the news said that there might be a explosion at the nuclear power station in Fukushima prefecture.
I entered the store, some products were still on sale, but the other products (especially foods) had already ran out (See the second picture above).
Furthermore, there is no panic or riot in my city, or probably anywhere else in Japan.

Anyway, I think it's lucky it wasn't worse that there are no panic and riot.

However Fortunately, many stores are still open fortunately and it doesn't mean that there are no products in stores.
I think we Japanese are still dealing with our situation calmly now.

As you said, the nationality of the Japanese may have positively influence to cope with disaster.
However, I think the support of many people around the world must make us cool down and prevent us from being into chaos.
