I went to pick up my bicycle which was parked near my company office.
After I recognized the situation of my bicycle, I went into my office. [[This is not wrong. However, it would be more natural to say, "After I checked the condition of my bicycle..." or "After I verified the condition of my bicycle..."]]
My office was still in the state it had been in when the earthquake first hit.
Many documents and PCs were scattered on the floor (take a look at the picture above).
I remembered the scene of PCs flying through the air, the foundation of the building creaking. I heard the women's screams in my mind and felt awful again. [[In English, longer sentences sound calmer. Because this was emotional, it is more natural to make shorter sentences.]]
Thank you for your corrections and comment.
I didn't know the difference of the impression between the long sentence and the short one.
As you said, the objects would be able to rebuilt if they were broken, however the life of human would not be able to revived if they were lost.
I'm thanking that we and my close blood relatives and my colleagues are still alive.
In addition, thank you again for your message!!
Thank you for your comment.
I saw some video uploaded on youtube, too, most of the scenes in the video were the same scene which was occurred in my office, and probably in most of company offices and schools and houses in Japan.
However, as you said, I and all my colleagues could survive from the disaster with no injure, it's the most fortunate thing for us.
In addition, I and all my colleagues are fine. it's fortunate thing, too.
I'm thanking for you very much for your concern again!!
There were many pieces of the outside wall of my company's office building (lying fallen) around my bicycle, but fortunately, my bicycle was still there without any damage.
When I saw it , I remembered the moment of the earthquake. > it's clear what you are talking about, so you don't need to repeat the word "situation".
Thank you for your corrections and comment.
The office of my company became bad condition as you see the picture above, but fortunately, I and my colleagues were survived without any injury and we are fine.
I'm thanking you and many people around the world concerning our disaster.
We are encouraged by many warm massages and supports from many people around the world.
Thank you again.
