昨日の私の日記で、私は神戸マラソンにエントリーし、マラソン主催者から「当選」通知と「落選」通知を両方受け取ったことを書きました。
I received the revised report on the results of the lottery from the organizers by e-mail today.
私は今日、主催者から修正された結果報告をＥメールで受け取りました。
The e-mail said that I was really selected!! (^ ^)
Ｅメールには、私は本当は当選だと書いてありました。
I saw the web-site of the organizers and found that the "REJECTED" report of yesterday (Take a look at the first picture above) was changed the "SELECTED" report. (Take a look at the second picture above.)
主催者のＷｅｂサイトを見てみると、昨日の「落選」通知(第1の写真参照)は、「当選」通知に変わっていました(第2の写真参照)。

I said mentioned on the last my diary entry that I applied to the Kobe Marathon and that I received both the "SELECTED" report and "REJECTED" reports from the organizers of the marathon.

(There is a very subtle nuance for using "the" and "a." In this sentence you wrote "the REJECTED report" which is correct since you were talking about a specific report of which the reader understands you are directing our attention. If you say "a" it is more general and fits better for "a SELECTED report" in this sentence. In a way it reminds me of the subtle differences between は and が in Japanese.)

To choice the articles between "the" and "a" correctly is difficult for me, and because of that, your indication above was useful for me.
