When I joined the current company after graduating from the university, I started a rock band club in the company. I’ve been organizing the club for about 10 years. A lot of people joined it and they have formed various rock bands in my club.
One of the original club members will reach the mandatory retirement age at the end of this month, so we decided to celebrate him. We got together at a music studio and played his favorites songs with him.
His selections were old west coast rock music. We played “Take It Easy” and “How Long” of the Eagles, “Running Empty” and “Looking East” of Jackson Browne, “Listen to the Music” of the Doobie Brothers. We also played “Let It Be” and “Something” of the Beatles.
Even though the most club members were young people, we really enjoyed playing the old music. After we spent at the music studio, we went to a Japanese-style bar and drink a lot. We had a very happy time.
