There was some free time after finishing work today. So, instead of directly going back home, I went to EC88, an English conversation club. I think I should sometimes speak English for not forgetting. Even though it was just a small chat only with Japanese, I think it is somewhat effective.

There were much more people in the club than usual. It is maybe because of April. Since a lot of people experience some changes in their lives in this season, so many people try to start something new in April. I guess a lot of people will quit in May, though.

    Nothing grammatically wrong with "there was" but we normally refer to ourselves "I had" about free time.

That is funny about the people who start new things in April and quit in May! In the U.S., people start things in January (because of New Year's) and quit in February.

Actually, school year and fiscal year of Japanese company starts in April.
