Well for future reference if there's certain words that you're unsure of the pronunciation you can use m-w.com.
For example recently I came across the word gauche which is pronounced "goash" so I was quite surprised.

I heard the word and I tried looking it up but the pronounciation threw me off so it wasn't working. And so I tried using the m-w app where you say the word that you want to look up and that voila it popped up.
