Yesterday I lent free a dvd "Children of men" from public library.
Today I watched the dvd by computer.

The plot of this movie is very simple.
In 2027, the world of women are become sterile.
The world are fallen into utter confusion.
But Illegal immigrant of girl became pregnant by a miracle.
A hero made every endeavor to defend that girl from the bad power.

I was impressed by the movie.
This movie said, "The dignity of new life".
I also thought that new life is precious.

  • But a girl who is an illegal immigrant becomes pregnant by a miracle. [So far you have been using the present perfect tense; so you must continue telling the story as if it is in the present.]

  • A hero made every endeavor to defend that girl from the bad power.
  • A hero tries in every way to defend that girl from an evil power. [You have not mentioned this "power" until now, so "an" is more appropriate than "the."]

  • This movie spoke of "the dignity of new life".

  • I also thought that new life is precious.
  • I also think/believe that new life is precious. [Saying that you thought this means that you don't think so any more. This needs to be present tense.]

This is my first time correcting an entry! I hope I helped you! I also enjoyed that movie, but did not like the music in it (or the lack of music). Write more movie reviews! I love movies :) :)

I need to say that I disagree with one of icsteffi-san's corrections. "To rent" something generally implies paying money for the right to use it temporarily; I have never heard anyone speak of "renting something for free." The word "borrow" is what is used for this purpose.

As icsteffi-san said, in the sentence "A lends something to B," A is the giver, and B is the receiver. In the sentence "A borrows something from B," B is the giver, and A is the receiver.

Yep, I agree with Tony. If we rent something, it means we paid some money to use it.

I saw that movie at the cinema. One of the better films I've seen. The way the camera followed the main character was great.
