Dictation of Proposal

This might be very weird because I am a guy and not a very romantic type of person, but I did a dictation of proposal in a movie so that I can enhance my vocabulary about relationship.
I am not sure whether I can get correctly but this is what I heard:

You wanted it to be a surprise.
In all my life, I never thought I would be so lucky as to fall in love with my best...
There's a reason why girls don't do this.
(She cried so much that she couldn't continue.)
<guy>
I'll do it. I thought... (H) Wait, I can do this. I thought that it mattered what i said or where I said it. Then I realized the only that matters is that you. You make me happier than I ever thought I could be. And if you let me, I'll spend rest of my life trying to make you feel the same way. Will you marry me?

Yes.
